Key Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
Support the Manager in maintaining ISO 9001 QMS accreditation and compliance with PED 2014/68/EU and PE(S)R 2016 Module H.
Carry out internal system audits and manage follow-up corrective and preventative actions in line with QMS requirements.
Maintain and improve QMS procedures by reviewing effectiveness, addressing issues raised by departments, and updating documentation, processes, and working practices as required.
The Quality Engineer will support the Manager during 3rd party, client, and LQRA audits, ensuring all non-conformances are addressed and closed out.
Compile and issue customer certification packs.
Review and develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Drive continual improvement through analysis of supplier rejects, in-process rejects, and customer complaints.
Support relevant feedback meetings and management reviews, providing data analysis and executive summaries.

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 13:30

Manufacturing experience and knowledge specifically with valves or pressure systems (essential for this role).
EN 10204 certification.
Lead/Internal ISO 9001 Auditor.

Works with quality assurance, engineering, and maintenance on Process Control Planning teams to achieve capability and control goals.
Responsible for keeping the work area safe and orderly.
Ensure that supporting staff maintains and follows safety and manufacturing procedures to comply with site and governmental policies and regulations.
Responsible for the proper operation of the plant water treatment units and the operation of the plant utilities.
Trains and motivates supporting staff.
Conducts performance appraisals and recommends wage adjustments.
Initiates and administers commendations and disciplinary action as required.

Responsible for the accurate recording of raw material and resource usage and increases in finished product inventory.
