Minimum Requirements:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Scheduler/ Planner analyzes and schedules production activities, material equipment, etc.
runs for the scheduling of production and packaging of DAP product to meet market demand for finished product which directly impacts cost, quality, and customer service levels.
Uses knowledge of production process and machine capabilities to analyze manufacturing orders and create production schedules.
Responsibilities:
Schedules manufacturing operations to effectively and efficiently meet the requirements and priorities specified during the scheduling process.
Creates schedule defining the production requirements necessary to meet inventory levels.
Interface with various teams to support material status.
Pulls production data for the next 24 hours for discussion at the daily production meeting.
Meets with Operations Team members to discuss delivery, performance, and quality issues and works with them to expedite production in order to meeting increasing or earlier than expected production demands.
Reviews production schedule, low inventory report, critical inventory report, desired production levels and staffing.
Resolves production planning issues.
Prepares various reports.
Revises schedules as needed to accommodate changes in execution.
Monitors production schedules and communicates shortages that can be covered by stock transfers from other plants.
Assist with additional schedules to cover shortages at other plants when necessary.
Plans annual physical inventory activities and other special projects as necessary.
Interface with the department manager and the Corporate SIOP team to control inventory variances.
May be assigned to other duties as required.
Requirements
Associates degree preferred.
1 - 3 years of experience in relevant field.
Analytical skills in forecasting and anticipation of production needs.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Familiar with SAP and the scheduling codes associated with the program (CM29).
Statistical control skills.
Experience working in an Inventory Control, Materials, Purchasing or Production Planning environment.
No disciplinary actions of Written Warning or higher within the last year.
Logical reasoning abilities; knowledge of processes, applications, terminology, forecasting and facility capabilities.
Basic PC/Windows skills.

Ensure Quality Control/Quality Management of all scope items.
Verify that all project work complies with contract documents.
Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self-perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards.
Ensure the profitability of the region by effectively managing the team and processes with the tools available including collaboration with the RBM.
Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction.
Aid in takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed.
Participate in CG/CM, Sales Team, and Ops Management related coordination and collaboration.
Provide QA and QC inspections and training at all levels of work to achieve the highest standards of Tremco/WTI roofing practices so that the Tremco Sales team will increase their market share of performed work to WTI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely and effectively operate foam cutting machines to produce maximum yield with minimum waste.
Cut EPS / XPS foam using a two-axis profile cutting machine.
Safety and efficiently operate down cutter/slabber equipment.
Process internal work orders by cutting required EPS / XPS foam parts.
Develop pre-production EPS foam prototypes for production planning.
Track EPS foam billets and work with procurement to maintain adequate stock.
Write G codes for the profile cutter.
Perform regular quality control inspections.
Measure parts with a tape measure to maintain the specified tolerance and adjust codes as necessary.
Work closely and collaboratively with the production team to plan the production process for each order.
Maintain and troubleshoot foam cutting equipment.
Help develop better systems and processes to produce and package finished goods.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent professional/trade certifications or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two to four years related experience and/or training as a machine operator or CNC programmer.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
CAD/CAM software proficiency; experience with software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or specialized foam-cutting CAM packages to design and generate G-code.
Ability to write, debug, and edit G-code to optimize tool paths, minimize, and manage tool changes.
Understanding of different foam densities and rigidities, and the ability to adjust cutting speeds (14,000-17,000 RPM) and feed rates (50-100 mm/s) to avoid burning or excessive melting.
Expertise in selecting appropriate cutting tools, such as single-flute end mills for high-speed, clean cuts, or hot-wire, along with proper tool length to minimize vibrations.
Skill in setting up CNC routers, hot-wire cutters, or vertical cutting machines, including vacuum table setups for holding lightweight foam.
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Capable of performing routine maintenance, such as changing or sharpening blades, and resolving issues like tool breakage, material deflection, or poor surface finish.
Ability to handle, lift, and maneuver large, lightweight, and bulky foam blocks (often up to 50+ lbs).
Strict adherence to safety protocols, including managing fire hazards (foam can be flammable), proper ventilation for dust extraction, and using appropriate PPE (safety glasses, masks).
Attention to detail; critical for ensuring accurate cuts, especially with complex shapes, to minimize waste.
