JOB DESCRIPTION
The DAP Brand Team is in search of an Assistant Brand Manager that will support our product commercialization launches and event/tradeshow needs.
This person will work closely with Brand Management, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, Production Studio, Product and Insights teams, as well as external agencies and partners.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Pre-Commercialization and Commercialization Coordination - Collaborates on creating and managing New Product Launch Commercialization task list and timelines, as well as attend Commercialization meetings to keep team on track and on task.
Manage literature timelines in coordination with the Graphics team and launch kit needs with internal and external teams.
Strategic Branding Support - Assist in reviews of packaging, literature, advertisements, etc.
to support graphic development of branding materials to ensure alignment with equitable sub-brands and the DAP master brand.
Brand Strategy & Competitive Analysis: Review packaging and positioning of products and suggest improvements in-store or online.
Research competition and identify opportunities for growth.
Event and Tradeshow Coordination - Lead 3-4 industry specific tradeshows and assist with national tradeshows and sales meeting event needs from themes, to design assist, signage, show logistics (hotel, show registration), sales software, product orders/shipments and on-site assistance.
Marketing Newsletter- Leads Marketing newsletter content gathering, design layout and distribution on a quarterly basis.
Packaging Artwork Assistance - Provide support to the artwork trafficking teams by assisting with print supplier communication when needed.
Lytho Project Management System Lead & Reporting - Co-manages Lytho project tracking system and assists with reporting of activity to Brand team as needed.
Provide back-up to Graphics lead on request intake.
Process Improvement - Review existing processes to find areas to refine and improve through the use of AI and current systems.
Administrative - Invoice & budget tracking; Digital/Graphic Assist, Literature Management, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, management or communications.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on Brand Management or Brand Marketing experience.
Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Hardware & Home Improvement industry experience a plus.
Outstanding record of efficient project and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently while setting realistic timelines and managing deliverables.
Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, cross-functional team capacity with the ability to communicate and work with various teams, technologies, and people

This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by ensuring the various packaging and filling equipment runs smoothly and minimizes downtime.
Below are the available shift schedules:
1st Shift (Monday to Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
3rd Shift (Friday to Sunday from 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Overtime is available/required.
Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!
Responsibilities:
Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line.
Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate.
Utilize RF scanner and SAP system.
Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
Completes all paperwork accurately.
Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area.
Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules.
Works in other areas as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
Ability to climb steps/ladders
Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

General Purpose:

Qualifications

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Under limited supervision, performs skilled welding duties including Pipe Welding on Carbon and Stainless and Pipe Fitting, Plant maintenance, repair, and structural welding; performs other maintenance and repair duties, as assigned.
The Maintenance Welder will be working 4-day, 10-hour schedule and on call nights, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to understand and perform complex repair procedures while following oral and written instruction specific to the equipment being repaired.
Able to Work 4 day/10-hour shift.
Must have Basic Mechanical ability.
Ability to conduct Structural welding.
Proven ability to Pipe Welding on Carbon and Stainless.
Pipe Fitting.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, or high lifts.
Develops a full understanding of chemical hazards specific to area assigned to, including knowledge of required PPE for each job.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, drawings, and/or specifications.
Work in plant, and shop environment.
Develops a full understanding of material identification code system, including hazard identification numbering for repair jobs that require clearing of equipment in such service.
Must develop a basic understanding of the function of plant auxiliary equipment, including the fire protection system, boiler, heaters, air compressor, waste handling and emission control devices.
This includes specific tests or preventive maintenance procedures required for all equipment.
Develops a basic understanding of bulk tank systems.
This includes a numbering system and location tank tables, level measuring systems and transfer pumps for repairing such systems.
Must develop a full understanding of the plant waste handling systems.
This includes sumps operation, holding tanks, separation, and transfer equipment for repairing such systems.
Work with internal costumers to provide support for small projects; troubleshoot problems using operational procedures and products to eliminate downtime.
Help to maintain records on equipment to build history to track equipment service and replacement requirements.
Assist in training of less skilled mechanics.
Adhere to all company quality, safety, security, health and environmental requirements and policies.
Work with and/or supervise projects using outside contractor.
Perform all work according to Tremco CPG quality, emergency, and safety procedures.
Assist with Housekeeping.
Adhere to fire watch responsibilities.
LOTO/Safe use of hand power tools.
Understand line break permits, burning & welding permits.
Observe and understand TPM project.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High School Diploma/GED.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
3 or more years of experience in mechanical field.
Experienced in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting plant issues.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
