Holt Engineering are working with leading food manufacturing company dedicated to producing quality products in a fast-paced, high-standard environment based in Winchester.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with valid Counterbalance Forklift experience to join their team.
This is a temporary to permanent position working full time Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm.
Paying between £27,000 - £29,000 Per Annum.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries, following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
- Move, stack, and organise raw materials and finished products within the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch
- Picking products for the production area
- Complete stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
- Support general warehouse duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment
Key Requirements for the successful Warehouse Operative:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled or food production environment
- Must drive with a Full UK Drivers Licence
