Essential Functions
Responsible for producing (making, cutting, labeling) high-quality floors, walls, lining and specialty samples for use as field sales tools.
Mix liquid amines and resins with silica sand in buckets or a blender and then trowel the material onto a sample board to a precise thickness.
Once the sample cures or solidifies, coating material is applied.
Once the sample passes the final curing process, the technician will cut the sample with a wet saw, sand it on a belt sander, and then lay out for final drying process.
Once dry, the technician will label the sample and package for shipment. Arranges for the prompt and efficient distribution of samples Responsible for policing and cleaning work area, lab, storage room and saw room.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Preferred Requirements
Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
Bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting - frequent, up to 50 lb bags Utilizing forklift - 25% Standing and walking up to 90% of the time Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency. This position requires consistent wearing of safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots while on the worksite. Must pass standard eye exam (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing.

They will manage the daily activities of demand, supply, and inventory planning.
Support the operations analytics function.
Responsibilities
Lead the Supply Planning process and sustain as business practice.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose
The HR Coordinator is primarily responsible for the effective delivery and support of all employee and talent-related operational activities across the organization, by providing exceptional customer service to internal clients (managers and employees) and candidates.
The HR Coordinator utilizes the HRIS to manage tasks and provide administrative assistance to the HR Team.
Principal Accountabilities
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.
The actual duties required of this position may vary. Support the processing of HR documents, i.e., interview materials, and update training records.
Process, track and maintain all new-hire and on-boarding requirements, including physicals, background checks, I-9 employment eligibility and paperwork.
Conduct new Employee Orientation. Maintain all government and internal required logs and reports; i.e., EEO, AAP, New Hire and Termination logs. Maintain employee database in Headcount Requisitions to produce monthly headcount reports for Stonhard.
In addition, assists in auditing all Global headcount reports for the RPM PCG with the HR Director. Create and maintain Global Organization Charts. Support the HR department to deliver employee engagement actions. Ensure accurate data is maintained within all HR information systems by regular audits and cross checks against trackers. Maintain employee information ERP system. Function as a liaison between vendors and employees and advises employees on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters, including monthly insurance reports and audits. Coordinate annual Open Enrollment. Maintain and assist with all employee compliance trainings and Oracle records management. Champion the Employee Self Service (ESS) through Oracle managing the information entry process and ensuring that all new employees are enrolled in the system. Coordinate all Cooperative Education and Intern candidates. Manage the Employee Service Award Program. Analyze processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Experience |Education | Certifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration preferred.
Two years prior experience in human resources, preferred. PHR or SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHMR-SCP, preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication, oral and written, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on soft skills. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office 365. Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and trust. Ability to take initiative in completing assigned work and projects.
Benefits and Compensation
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $53,000 and $55,000.
The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law. Here's what you can expect every day: Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, piping, valves, tanks, agitators, drives, gearboxes, and utilities. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements as well as to ensure equipment reliability. Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes. Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on the filling lines by Pareto analysis of OEE data and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime. Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks. Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.
Ensure shift to shift hand-off is complete. Support and complete small capital projects. Required Experience:
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing High School Diploma or equivalent Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required Ability to do basic math.
