A leading regional mental health service is seeking experienced Psychiatrists to join its Adult Mental Health Unit.
This permanent role offers the opportunity to provide inpatient care, contribute to outpatient follow-up, and engage in continuity of care for adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.
You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both hospital and community settings.
This position provides scope to participate in leadership, teaching, research, and clinical quality improvement initiatives, making it ideal for international psychiatrists seeking to establish or expand their practice in Australia.
Your Role
Provide expert clinical care to inpatients and participate in continuity of outpatient care.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across hospital and community mental health services.
Contribute to teaching, supervision, and mentoring of trainees, medical students, and allied health professionals.
Participate in clinical governance, service improvement, and quality initiatives.
Build consultative and collaborative relationships across mental health services and local stakeholders.

About You
Fellowship of RANZCP or equivalent international psychiatric qualification (e.g., MRCPsych, FRCPsych).
Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration or assessment under the Specialist Pathway.
Proven experience in acute adult psychiatry and inpatient mental health care.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
