Position Summary
Carboline Global is seeking a Plant Buyer for our manufacturing facility in Lake Charles, LA.
This individual will be responsible for identifying assigned product manufacturing requirements that optimizes batch sizes, minimizes excess, and meets customer delivery requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Essential Functions
Work all designated Purchase Orders for review and validation of total demand requirements for raw materials, containers and cartons, and make decisions on proper order quantity, approved vendor and delivery date. Track on Time Delivery orders and follow-up purchase orders that were not delivered by vendor's agreed delivery date and resolve delivery issues. Place purchase orders using LN for raw materials, containers and cartons. Work closely with the Corporate Scheduler to prioritize and coordinate raw materials, cartons, and containers for production requirements. Resolve inventory discrepancies with Accounts Payable. Review each requirement and consolidate purchases where possible, modify and establish order quantities based on coast, production levels and current inventory. In conjunction with Corporate Purchasing, Plant Management and Scheduling, determine appropriate reorder points and stocking levels for raw materials, cartons, and containers. Work with Corporate Purchasing to evaluate and select distributors for raw materials based on quality, price and delivery.
Recommend vendors for product evaluation. Maintain and correlate Purchase order receipt packages for raw materials, cartons and containers received. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a member of the fabrication team, the Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) wall components, and exterior panel systems.

Follows the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor. Reads fabrication drawings and tape measurements to prepare materials for assembly. Uses hand power tools to trim corners and fold panel returns. Pre-drills aluminum parts as required. Applies silicone sealant to aluminum extrusions. Attaches aluminum parts using set screws. Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications. Prepares and organizes parts for shipment. Assists with shipping and receiving. Follows all safety requirements. Cleans equipment after use and assists the team in keeping production space clean and organized. Assists with monthly inventory counts.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience or training. Previous work in a construction, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred. Previous work in the aluminum panel or window industry is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Automotive Paint and Bodyshop Programme
We are seeking a candidate with experience as a Bodyshop Manager, looking to take the next step in their career, working with a vehicle manufacturer approved bodyshop network throughout Germany.
This role will involve undertaking audits, managing compliance and working with the approved bodyshops to drive the network forward.
A willingness to travel throughout Germany is essential for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bodyshop Manager or Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to expand their career, working with a major vehicle manufacturer.
What you'll need:
Previous experience of the body and paint sector is essential for this position, this could be an independent bodyshop, regional or national group or within the vehicle manufacturers network.
Fluent in English and German languages is a must for this role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
Able to influence stakeholders across the brand and their partners.
Commercially focused and driven by results.

What you'll be doing:
Carry out physical and virtual audits on the network and remote verification of self-audits.
Produce individual repairer action plans from audit activity, liaising with individual locations to support them in maintaining the brand standards.
Identify priority training requirements and liaise with the brand centrally to ensure attendance of network
Produce a monthly report for the German market to required template.
Proactively drive the completion of repair data for the approved repairers.
Support the European Programme Manager in the identification of programme improvements

You will be joining a well-established company, located in Isle of Wight, working in a variety of different industries, specialising in designing and manufacturing specialist computing platforms, engineered to meet the client's exact requirements and needs.
They design many different products such as mobile tablets and boxed computers, through to complex racks and innovative IoT platforms.
They design their products to withstand extreme and harsh environments.
The Project Manager, will be reporting into the Project Team Lead and will be responsible for:
- Preparation of Project Plans with associated budget, resource requirements and schedule as required
- Working closely with cross-functional business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to cost constraints
- Management of a mix of multi-project portfolio ranging from short duration express projects (1- 3 months) and more complex longer duration engineering projects (1-9 months)
