GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Estimator supports the Panelization/Facades business by providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement processes for estimating, on-screen material takeoff, and scope reviews to provide added value to the extended sales team and client base.
Follow standard operating procedures for project estimating and manufacturing process development.
Prepare all aspects of an estimate including interpreting specifications and architectural drawings, understanding addendums, RFIs, and all other related documents that pertain to the project for bidding purposes.
Interpret the construction schedule for materials to be installed.
Compute overall costs associated with the project (material and panel fabrication) Create and maintain a database for all projects to include all job cost estimate breakdown documentation provided to the project coordination team.
Assist in the development of written text/illustrations for catalog and installation or design support literature for new product launches.
Convert AutoCAD documents to PDF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, WMF, and other file formats.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates or Bachelors degree in commercial construction or similar preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of two year's experience in commercial construction, exterior wall cladding, technical service or similar Ability to read and navigate construction documents and building plans is highly preferred

Team player who can be trusted to engage, participate in & lead key corporate growth initiatives.
Understanding of key DAP products & product categories & how they're used within various Construction & Industrial trades. Monitor market, competitive, & account specific trends, identify strategic opportunities, and ensure product offering is properly positioned within each account. Network and build relationships at functional and senior leadership levels across assigned national accounts.
Written and verbal communications skills that are clear, concise, appropriate in timing, and directed to appropriate levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, PowerBI, and an ability to learn to use other related applications as needed

Primary Responsibilities: Develop Standard Work for all injection molding processes and support activities and help train leaders in each functional area. Establish and maintain internal specifications and process documentation for injection molding processes and tooling ensuring processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. Justify and generate capital expense proposals and manage capital projects for new machinery, automation and tooling. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS), reliability engineering principles, and project management methodologies. Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts. Apply the Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations, building code, and NFPA fire code to capital projects and design specifications Manage external Engineering Firm resources on large capital projects Frequent interface with corporate staff, plant staff, operators, and maintenance personnel across a 3-shift operation
Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
