JOB DESCRIPTION
The Transportation Analyst will work cross-functionally with both internal and external parties to support DAP's end-to-end supply chain.
The role will interface with manufacturing, carriers, and vendors to ensure that raw material requirements are met to support production.
Coordinates a cross-functional effort across sales, marketing, distribution, and customer service to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Create reporting solutions that provide clear analysis and insights to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
Analyzes current processes, identifies areas of inefficiency, and implements policies to address the needed improvements.
Responsibilities:
Maintain routing and transit times for vendors and work with purchasing to establish accurate MRP lead times.
Plan and coordinate shipments for inbound deliveries of raw material and packaging for production.
This includes occasional international & co-manufacturing shipments.
Onboard & train vendors to the Vendor Portal in TMS.
Lead projects with internal & external parties to streamline the inbound freight process.
Call and schedule pickups when required.
Work with Customer Service to support the returns process when required.
Work with the master data team to ensure that product information is up-to-date and accurate including: dimensions, weight, & freight classifications.
Work with Regulatory to obtain HS codes, DOT, IMDG, & IATA information for hazmat.
Develop carrier scorecards, track on time pickup/delivery, tender acceptance, and other carrier KPI's.
Support the freight audit and pay process, and claims management.
Share project progress internally; escalates and resolves potential issues that would impact cost or service.
Requirements:
1-3 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
Experience with TMS (Mercury Gate is preferred)
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Microsoft Suite).
Knowledge of SAP S4 is preferred.
Experience creating dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or other related software.
Ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable and flexible to change.
Self-starter and motivated to continuously improve and learn.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Manager Junior Associate position will train in many departments within Roofing and WTI while engaged in a degree seeking program through RISE.
The following areas will be included in training as well as any others deemed appropriate: WTI Field - WTI Field Resources to learn installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as safe operations of tools of the trade.
This position requires hands on; roof or construction site activity. General Contracting - learn and assist in project management duties including but not limited to managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc), participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
Sales & Service Support - Report database management and QC related activities, warranty adjustment, leak tracking, customer service, project administration, product training activities, etc. The Construction Manager Junior Associate will be required to apply and take courses working towards a degree in Construction Management through the WTI partnership with The University of Akron, must maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA, and will work through the Junior Associate curriculum which includes training in the following: OLI QC, superintendent training, estimating, spec writing, CM admin support, PR/Inspection field services.

RPM's Internal Audit Department performs annual internal control audits at the Company's largest worldwide locations in support of "Management's Assessment of Internal Control over Financial Reporting." The work performed by RPM's Internal Audit Department with respect to internal controls is also relied upon by the Company's external auditor (Deloitte) during the performance of its independent internal control audit.
RPM's Internal Audit Department also performs annual financial statement audits at certain of the Company's smaller worldwide locations.
In addition, RPM's Internal Audit Department may work on various other projects on an ad hoc basis.
The Staff Internal Auditor reports directly to the Manager, Internal Audit during the execution of the procedures described above.
This role is based in RPM's Medina, Ohio headquarters and is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week spent in the office.
This position may travel up to 15-20% of the year.
Essential Functions
Evaluate the design and perform operating testing over key internal controls.
Prepare summaries of the audit procedures performed and the results achieved at the conclusion of each audit.
Assist in developing recommendations for remedial action to improve operations within an agreed upon implementation schedule.
Conduct follow-up discussion and tests to ascertain whether agreed upon corrective measures have been implemented.
Perform financial statement audit procedures in accordance with Internal Audit's standard audit program.
Prepare summaries of the audit procedures performed and the results achieved at the conclusion of each audit.
Assist in developing recommendations for remedial action to improve operations within an agreed upon implementation schedule.
Conduct follow-up discussions and tests to ascertain whether agreed upon corrective measures have been implemented.
Respond to internal requests for support or assistance in a prompt and professional manner.
Provide assistance to the Company' external auditors.
Keep abreast of laws, rules and regulations issued by applicable regulatory agencies with which the Company must comply.
Maintain personal and professional competency through appropriate participation in professional organizations and attendance at relevant internal and external training opportunities.

Internal Contacts:
Staff Internal Auditors, Senior Internal Auditors, and Managers, Internal Audit - On a daily basis, the Staff Internal Auditor is expected to interact in small project teams by assisting other Staff Internal Auditors and Interns with the completion of their work, and working under the supervision of Senior Internal Auditors and Managers, Internal Audit.
VP Internal Audit & Chief Audit Executive - On a periodic basis, the Staff Internal Auditor may meet with the Chief Audit Executive to discuss internal audit objectives, audit procedures and audit results.
Corporate Finance Department - Internal Audit will be responsible for auditing the activities of the Corporate Finance Department, most important of which is the preparation of the Company's external financial statements.
In addition, the Corporate Finance Department will communicate any areas of risk at the operating company level to Internal Audit for review and follow-up.
Financial Management at Operating Groups and Operating Companies - Though the degree will vary with every audit, this position will have contact with all employees in the worldwide finance function, at every level of the organization.

Education/License/Certification/Experience Requirements
0 to 2 years of experience is preferred.
Knowledge equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills Required for Position
