The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic and efficient balance among multiple priorities.
The Assistant will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling and calendar management, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, vendor management, and company events
Manage, coordinate, and arrange travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination
Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing system and database
Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
Responsible for event logistics for departmental events inclusive of budgeting, presenting event plan to executive staff and managing all day of event activities
Negotiate with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure the best rates for all aspects of events with discretion based on budgetary restrictions and final sign off and approval from department
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the VPs, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
Process invoices and payment of invoices
Update and create organizational charts for annual Org review meetings.
Curate and disseminate corporate communications for departments.
Schedule interviews periodically
Open and manage incoming and outgoing mail
Qualifications:
1-2 years event planning experience
5-10 years related Admin/Exec Assistant experience
Comfortable working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
Friendly and approachable, displays diplomacy and tact
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

Corresponds with banks regarding reconciliation problems.
Manages the ePayables Program
Manages the payment process of the ePayables program.
Ensures that vendors have taken their posted payments and generates YTD status reports based on vendor activity.
Manages the corporate-wide Concur Expense Reimbursement system
Manages, maintains, approves, audits and processes expense reports for payment of all DAP employees.
Maintains the integrity of the expense reimbursement system by adding and deleting associates when needed and making sure that the correct information is attached to each employee.
Applies the corporate reimbursement policies when making payments to employees to ensure proper reimbursement.
Creates rules and policies in Concur so that the system automatically audits according to our corporate policies.
Manages the Mexican General Ledger in SAP
Manages and maintains both the internal fiscal year general ledger as well as the statutory calendar year general ledger in SAP to comply with Mexican law.
Works with the Mexican auditors to close the statutory ledger during the annual audit
Other
Provide support for and files the Sales & Use tax filings.
Completes and files US Dept of Commerce and Census government forms as needed.
Manages the 1099 and 1096 filings for the corporation.
Researches journal entries and miscellaneous budgetary variances during the month-end process.
Cross trains in aspects of our A/P, A/R, and Cash Application functions in order to provide a viable backup to those critical areas of the Finance Department operation.
Assists in the annual budget preparation.
Inputs and revises departmental budget information.
Creates monthly reports for department heads and communicates directly with them regarding monthly budgetary variances.
Other projects as deemed necessary by Finance Department managers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Strong spreadsheet skills, ability to understand accounting and financial reporting systems.
Working knowledge of SOx procedures and SAP, HFM and Concur experience a desired, but not required.
7+ years of experience in the relevant field.

Provide support for and files the Sales & Use tax filings.
Completes and files US Dept of Commerce and Census government forms as needed.
Manages the 1099 and 1096 filings for the corporation.
Researches journal entries and miscellaneous budgetary variances during the month-end process.
Cross trains in aspects of our A/P, A/R, and Cash Application functions in order to provide a viable backup to those critical areas of the Finance Department operation.
Assists in the annual budget preparation.
Inputs and revises departmental budget information.
Creates monthly reports for department heads and communicates directly with them regarding monthly budgetary variances.
Other projects as deemed necessary by Finance Department managers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Strong spreadsheet skills, ability to understand accounting and financial reporting systems.

Job Purpose
The Director of Corporate Development PCG is responsible for external growth (acquisition) initiatives and other strategic partnerships in support of PCG's sales, margins, and earnings growth goals.
Also responsible for leading special projects for PCG as needed.
Principal Accountabilities
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.
The actual duties required of this position may vary.
Leads acquisition pipeline creation and growth, working with PCG operating company leadership and the PCG Group President.
With other PCG leaders creates acquisition strategy to achieve both near- and longer-term growth goals.
Oversees company research and target list buildout.
Manages target outreach to build relationships with owners and other key stakeholders, as well as ongoing relationship management.
Outreach may include networking with brokers and attending trade shows and other industry events and conferences in support of long-term goals.
Leads creation of acquisition valuation and strategy documents with PCG operating companies, to present to RPM for review and approval.
Leads engagement with PCG operating companies throughout the process to ensure overall PCG-wide alignment.
Champions proposed acquisitions with the RPM Corporate Development team in support of PCG/RPM initiatives and goals.
Leads PCG's engagement with RPM and external partners (i.e., legal, financial, environmental, etc.) throughout the due diligence process.
Oversees the integration process, working with PCG operating companies and the PCG leadership team to track progress and ensure successful execution.
Oversees ongoing reporting on acquisitions as needed.
Leads ongoing process (strategy development, research, outreach, target tracking, due diligence, integration, and reporting) analysis, identification of best practices, and implementation to maximize corporate development efficiency and results.
Creates a culture fostering long-term corporate development program success.
Leads special projects for PCG as needed.
Completes international assignments/travel as needed
Experience |Education | Certifications
5+ years Corporate Development experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
Demonstrated leadership/teaming skills desired.
Demonstrated technical skills, modeling capabilities and understanding of finance and accounting preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours in a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
