You'll suit this role if you're naturally organised, confident speaking to customers and comfortable working with data and IT systems.
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, order processing or a similar support role would be ideal.
What you'll be doing
You'll support the day-to-day sales operation, taking ownership of customer orders and helping to resolve issues from order through to delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and managing customer orders, including backorders and outstanding requirements
Updating and maintaining accurate customer and order information in SAP and Excel
Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
Making outbound calls to follow up orders, requirements and outstanding actions
Coordinating delivery, returns and shipping information
Maintaining accurate pricing, customer and system data
Liaising with sales, operations, logistics and other internal teams to resolve queries and keep orders moving
Producing and maintaining spreadsheets and other administrative information
Providing administrative support to the wider commercial team
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility for following things through.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, order processing or a similar support role
Good Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data
A confident and professional telephone manner
Good general IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Experience using SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage, although full training can be provided
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
The confidence to proactively follow up outstanding actions rather than waiting for someone else to chase them
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
You don't need to be a car enthusiast, although an interest in classic cars or the automotive sector would be a bonus.
What you'll get
£29,000-£35,000, depending on relevant experience and skills
Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday, 8:30am-3:00pm
Generous holiday entitlement
Training and support to develop your SAP and wider systems knowledge
Opportunities for career development within a growing business
A varied role with genuine responsibility for customer orders and sales administration
The opportunity to work within the specialist and interesting classic automotive sector

Today, that discovery is Rust-Oleum Corporation. Founded in 1921, the same passion that drove the Captain to create the world's first rust-preventative paint still drives us today.
When we see a problem, we work diligently until we've perfected a solution, which has led to some of the most cutting edge, durable and innovative products in the industry.
