As our Mechanic Operator you are responsible for both the maintenance and operation of filling and packaging equipment.
Additionally provide assistance and support to the Maintenance Mechanic in making repairs throughout the plant.

Here's what you can expect every day: The primary responsibility is to operate the filling line to meet the production schedule.
Secondarily, the employee will be required to change over and repair line equipment as needed.
Restock supplies and components on filling line as needed to support production.
Perform quality checks and inspections as necessary.
Document various production data; including downtime, production rate, and issues.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions, following checklists. Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install, or repair: wiring, piping, machinery, and equipment. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Diagnose mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, utilizing repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
Required Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. 1-3 years of industrial experience. Experience with filling and packaging equipment. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to do basic math and enter computer data. Ability to coordinate with the work of others and solve problems in a team environment. Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Willingness to work overtime as required.

The International Regulatory Specialist is responsible for providing regulatory support to Rust-Oleum's international business.

As our Maintenance Mechanic you are are to maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Here's what you can expect every day: Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including: pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, piping, valves, tanks, agitators, drives, gearboxes, and utilities. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements as well as to ensure equipment reliability. Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes. Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on the filling lines by Pareto analysis of OEE data and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime. Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks. Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.
Ensure shift to shift hand-off is complete. Support and complete small capital projects. Rust-Oleum is an equal opportunity employer.

Required Experience:
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing High School Diploma or equivalent Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required Ability to do basic math. Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using machinery. Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to machines. Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment. Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with such materials as silver and copper solution, rubber, paint, glaze, oil, or rustproofing materials. Turn dials, handwheels, valves, or switches to regulate conveyor speeds, machine temperature, air pressure, and circulation, and the flow or spray of coatings or paints. Start and stop operation of machines, using levers or buttons. Record operational data on specified forms. Start pumps to mix solutions and fill tanks. Required Experience:

JOB PURPOSE:
The Corporate Project & Design Engineer is accountable for providing engineering design specifications and standards as well as leading strategic CapEx engineering projects within Manufacturing Operations.
This includes executing engineering projects for capital installations $200,000+, project management ownership from design through startup, and long-range technical planning and strategies for the business.
The role also leads the creation and maintenance of engineering design specifications, guidelines, and standards.
Principle Accountabilities:
Responsible for capital project execution including equipment selection, justification, CapEx processing, purchasing, installation, and start-up support efforts Engineering Design Leadership - Develop and manage engineering design specifications and Techno-Economic Models including process design, P&ID, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, and financial analyses (CapEx, OpEX, NPV) Support & bolster the Engineering Work Process providing strategic direction and support to build and enhance the work process Engineers within the team on large projects can be assigned specific portions of capital projects based on expertise and workload availability including project management, technical design of packaging equipment & paint making/processing equipment, and construction management.
Project Management - Manage projects using the Engineering Work Process from conceptual design through successful startup transition to the local plant team.
This includes managing budget, timeline, and deliverables to ensure projects meet established success criteria. Design - Recommend, and implement manufacturing systems that are designed for machine, human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability.
Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses. Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts. Apply the Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations, building code, and NFPA fire code to capital projects and design specifications Manage external Engineering Firm resources on large capital projects Frequent interface with corporate staff, plant staff, operators, and maintenance personnel across a 3-shift operation
Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Chemical Engineering preferred.
Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Electrical Engineers with hands-on related experience will also be considered. 5 years Minimum in plant engineering support role with hands-on experience in engineering, process design, continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment, project management and project start-up verification Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical communication skills, with the ability to lead and thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments Commitment to safety, ethical behavior, and respect for people, ensuring adherence to industry standards, governmental regulations and company values Willingness to travel frequently to support capital project assignments.
Travel will be variable, depending on ongoing project needs (~20-30%)
