Authors reports for OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory agencies related to EHS compliance, as well as required annual reporting as required for environmental permits (water, air, and hazardous waste).
Conducts/facilitates required testing associated with air, water, and hazardous waste permits.
Manages environmental data reporting systems to ensure accurate data capture and compliance.
Participates in EHS reviews for equipment/ process changes.
Maintains a visible presence on the shop floor and serves as a point of contact for environmental and safety-related inquiries.
Contributes to ISO 14001 program/ activities.
Ensures proper management, storage, and disposal of facility waste streams.
Participates in the development and delivery of EHS training.

Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments across multiple international sites
The successful Regional EHS Manager will need:
Experience within aggregates, quarrying, tarmac, reinforced concrete frames or precast concrete
Knowledge of temporary works and the risks associated with concrete batching or manufacturing operations
A relevant degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
NEBOSH, CMIOSH, CSP, CIH or an equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, auditing, inspections and risk assessment

Carrying out basic vehicle movement and handling
Using HHD scanners to scan, locate and direct all vehicle movements (initial training will be provided)
Carrying out basic vehicle checks as required and report findings to line manager
Ensuring all vehicles are parked as per relevant customer standards
Responsibility for your own safety and of those who work around you
Maintain a safe driving standard and adhere to site speed limits
Checking all vehicles for damage before moving and reporting any damage found to line manager
