GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist identifies, assesses, and resolves environmental, health, and safety concerns across multiple facilities.
Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps track of any changes to laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
Implements continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate risk.
Serves as the contact with all regulatory bodies.
Implements and maintains company policies, adhering to environmental regulations.
Works under the direction and guidance of the EHS Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts EHS audits of manufacturing sites, distribution centers, R&D labs, and offices; develops, tracks, and provides guidance on corrective actions.
Authors reports for OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory agencies related to EHS compliance, as well as required annual reporting as required for environmental permits (water, air, and hazardous waste).
Conducts/facilitates required testing associated with air, water, and hazardous waste permits.
Manages environmental data reporting systems to ensure accurate data capture and compliance.
Participates in EHS reviews for equipment/ process changes.
Maintains a visible presence on the shop floor and serves as a point of contact for environmental and safety-related inquiries.
Contributes to ISO 14001 program/ activities.
Ensures proper management, storage, and disposal of facility waste streams.
Participates in the development and delivery of EHS training.
Fosters a safety culture at assigned sites.
Complies with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures.
Participates in facility-based safety committees.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree from a four- or five-year college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two to four years of related experience and/or training.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of EHS regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Essential Functions:
Stage and prepare all raw materials associated with production batches.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas, with active engagement in positive safety behavior.
Communicates (gives a heads up) low levels of raw material to supervisory staff.
Develops good working knowledge of all batch making and packaging processes.
Maintains good working relationship with Quality Control.
Must be capable of logical structuring of batch making process, particularly optimizing the switchover sequence/needs of production.

Physical Requirements:
Must pass standard eye examination (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing.
Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by fit test performed by an authorized agency.
Must be capable of lifting between 25-70 lbs.

General Purpose:
The Field Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing support and safety oversight to regional Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies field employees (including but not limited to Sales, Roofing Advisors, CSS, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensuring site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, as well as ensuring site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
This position will provide supervision and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of jobsites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence and conducting site visits to perform safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance)

* Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner and Tremco regulations throughout all Roofing regional projects. Assist site leadership to develop site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Field Services Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning and equipment. Assist Regional Field Safety Managers with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new policies, or changes in existing policies, to keep current (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs) Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of Tremco Health and Safety programs in the field, to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Participate with and/or conduct Toolbox Talk Meetings with Regional team employees. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance. Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance of our subcontractors to applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco and their own). Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required. OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification required. Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Proficient Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel/work remotely 80% or greater.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Manager Junior Associate position will train in many departments within Roofing and WTI while engaged in a degree seeking program through RISE.
The following areas will be included in training as well as any others deemed appropriate: WTI Field - WTI Field Resources to learn installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as safe operations of tools of the trade.
This position requires hands on; roof or construction site activity. General Contracting - learn and assist in project management duties including but not limited to managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc), participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
Sales & Service Support - Report database management and QC related activities, warranty adjustment, leak tracking, customer service, project administration, product training activities, etc. The Construction Manager Junior Associate will be required to apply and take courses working towards a degree in Construction Management through the WTI partnership with The University of Akron, must maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA, and will work through the Junior Associate curriculum which includes training in the following: OLI QC, superintendent training, estimating, spec writing, CM admin support, PR/Inspection field services.

Per pricing procedures review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.

Operates industrial blenders in accordance with established production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.

Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.

Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
Meets and/or exceeds production goals and guidelines for daily/weekly production runs.
Observes plant safety rules and regulations at all times, reports all safety hazards in a timely manner.
