Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.

WTI has established a Safety Solutions Team as a revenue-generating team within WTI designed to expand and create new rooftop opportunities for safety inspections, installations, and overall property owner reassurance for OSHA/ANSI compliance, supporting both Tremco Roofing and WTI.

Prepare estimates using the electronic tools provided (i.e., spreadsheets, apps, etc.). Develop relationships with regional teams including but not limited to, sales reps, CSS, program managers, regional business managers, field supervisors, and field technicians. Develop processes and protocols for engaging sales representatives, customers, and contractors in alignment with regional and company objectives. Proactively identify potential barriers to participant success and work within WTI and outside agencies to deliver solutions. Provide excellent customer service to employees and outside partners. My client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and technically skilled Service Support Engineer to provide technical support for their specialist laser engraving machinery.
This role will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues, providing technical guidance, and ensuring optimal system performance.
The Role - Technical Support Engineer:
- Delivering prompt and comprehensive technical support to customers daily by telephone, email and TeamViewer (remote access) through our CRM system (Salesforce)
- Conducting upgrades, diagnosis, and resolution of issues with customer machines, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Prepared and generated quotations for consumable parts, spare parts, servicing and repair work through SAP and CRM system, guaranteeing accurate and timely communication with customers.
- Organise and support a team of field-based engineers.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure maximum customer satisfaction during machine installations and service visits.
- Provide in-depth documentation for cases that require escalation
- Ensuring thorough and detailed information is available for effective troubleshooting and resolution.
- Provide support as needed for the installation and commissioning of laser engraving machines at customer sites.
- Install and configure software for end users.
- Ensure customer cases are solved quickly and efficiently.
The Right Person
- Has a strong IT and network background
- Strong working knowledge of remote desktop tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient using a CRM system for caseload management or similar
- Happy to work in a fully office-based role.
- Commutable to NE35 postcode daily with use of own vehicle.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Happy to travel for product training.
Salary/ Package
- Salary £29,000-£32,000 DOE
