Pay Rates: £14.20 per hour (Mon-Fri/Day)- £16.00 (Mon-Fri/Night)- Weekend Day & night £16.00
Shift Pattern: Days and Nights (Monday - Sunday)
About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable healthcare assistants to join our friendly team of established carers who support a young lady in her family home and at school (which she attends a minimum of four days a week).
Our client loves to have people around her who have high energy, are fun, and don't mind being a little silly, while always keeping her well-being at the centre of everything they do.
She is an incredible young lady who has an acquired brain injury and requires support with all daily living tasks, including personal care, medication, administration of feeds, and therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.
The role will involve overseeing all health-related and social support, including all aspects of her health, well-being, and therapies as required.
We are keen for the ideal candidate to support our client both at home and in school as a Teaching Assistant dedicated solely to her, on a supply TA contract directly with the school.
We are looking for carers who can deliver person-centred care in line with a personalized care plan created specifically to meet the needs of our individual client.
You will need to be an excellent team player, as two healthcare assistants are rostered for each shift.
You will also be fully supported by our highly skilled Nurse Manager, who is on hand to guide the team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered while providing each team member with an excellent pathway for professional development.
We are looking for carers with experience in:
Deep Suctioning
Chest clearance program
Seizure management
Medication Administration
Teaching Assistant
Catheterizing
Bowel Washout
All candidates MUST be drivers.
(Manual drivers license)

As a Speech & Language Therapist your key responsibilities include:
Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for speech and language therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication
Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions on and individual or group basis.
Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation/progress
Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff
Maintains and develops close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards
Contributes to business growth by actively promoting priory therapy services in line with the local units' business plan
Maintains effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout the patient's rehabilitation
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
2-3 years experience including some experience within the specialised area
Adaptive Thinking
Able to show a can-do attitude always
Able to use your own initiative
Decision making skills essential
Able to manage work load
The successful Speech & Language Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working on days.
