As a Project you will work alongside the Project Director and the rest of the project team to manage project procurement, design and specifications, schedule, budget, site monitoring to ensure a high-quality bespoke façade solution.
Responsibilities

My client is a manufacturer of high precision & quality CNC Lathes and is seeking a technical-minded engineer to be ideally based in the Midlands to join their growing team.
As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of specialist machines across the UK.
Suitable candidate locations may include East Midlands, West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire or surrounding areas.
The Role of Field Service Engineer:
- Service, repair & maintenance of 3 & 5 axis machine tools
- Installation, repair & maintain 2 axis-9 axis lathes
- Develop & maintain working relationships with current customers
- Fault finding on Fanuc controls
- Mechanical repairs including ball screws, spindles, bearings and axis alignments
- Communicate daily with the line manager, providing detailed reports
- Carry out and maintain service stock
- Upload of daily worksheets to database
- Travel throughout the UK & Spain when required (with notice) to support colleagues abroad and attend training
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Must be a time-served engineer in machine tool service or CNC maintenance role
- 5 years of experience servicing or repairing multi-turret lathes or spindles
- Previous experience working on Fanuc controls
- Holds an HNC-level mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent (desirable)
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and use a meter for basic fault finding
- Willing to travel and stay away from home on a weekly basis
- Ability to work & communicate professionally at customer's premises
- Full clean UK driving licence and valid UK passport

Proactive in addressing preventative issues. Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and schedules routine inspections.
Develops health, safety, and environmental procedures for all areas of the company.
Investigates any safety incidents, provide root cause analysis, and set plans to address improvement opportunities.
Works with various contractors/vendors as needed. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
Maintains records of discharge of, or employee exposure to, hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
Completes all required OSHA forms and postings. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, certification and/or licensure required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered. Bachelor's degree required in field related to Environmental, Health, and/or Safety.
Minimum 5 years' management level experience required, ideally in manufacturing environment. Certification in one or more of the following is required: Certified Safety Professional Certifies Hazardous Materials Manager Certified CPR/First Aid Trainer OSHA 30-Hour OSHA Course Preferred certifications: HAZWOPER 24-Hour Training Root Cause Analysis Training Demonstrated ability to work efficiently/independently with minimal supervision. Ability to stay calm and lead under stressful conditions. Ability to travel up to 15%. Capacity to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Hiring Range:
Between $102,000 - $120,000 annually.
