GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Engineering team supports projects with diverse scopes of work.
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for organizing, researching, and documenting cross-departmental assignments that contribute to the growth and operational excellence of Pure Air Control Services, a division of Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Coordinate with multi-disciplined teams, including sales personnel and field team, to develop a scope of work and estimate the cost of a project.
Organize material and complete reports according to pre-defined standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Gather and analyze large amounts of technical data, drawings, and field notes to develop a clear understanding of building HVAC systems.
Translate incomplete or fragmented information into accurate system concepts, identifying key mechanical, electrical, and control components.
Evaluate project requirements, specifications, and system layouts to determine where company products and solutions can be effectively integrated.
Clearly explain technical observations and engineering assessments to project managers, sales teams, and operations staff in both verbal and written form.
Prepare concise reports highlighting system conditions, risks, and recommended actions, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering field (preferred)
Ability to obtain Engineer Intern certification (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including design consulting, commissioning, or test and balance.
CxA (Certified Commissioning Authority) or CxT (Certified Commissioning Technician) certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification will also be considered.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems.
Familiarity with current building, energy, and mechanical codes and standards.
Understanding of HVAC design principles, including heating load, air change, and ventilation requirements, and applying different HVAC systems (Constant volume, VAV, 100% OA, ERV units, etc.).
Understanding of HVAC engineering fundamentals, including load calculations, conceptual systems analysis through construction documentation design, equipment design and layout, and duct and pipe sizing.
Customer service oriented.
Proficient computer skills and strong technical writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Well organized and possess superior time management abilities to support several projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and self-directed while remaining a team player.

Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams to communicate effectively, and to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for the corporate quality team.

They will take leadership of our Product Complaint Review (PCR) process, where they will analyze consumer complaint data and identify opportunities for improvement in our products that will drive improved customer and consumer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with plant and corporate quality teams on management of quality projects and new product launches.
Risk assessments on new product launches.
Design and implementation of new quality processes
Statistical assessments of process capabilities and identification of opportunities for improvement.
Analyze product complaint data, identify opportunities for improvement and work across cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
Will include
In depth analysis of customer complaint data in excel, identification of poorly performing products from the data analysis and engaging the brand and R&D teams to identify possible product improvements.
Support day-to-day management of quality incidents, processes, etc.
through data analysis and utilization of root cause analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
0-3+ years of experience (in a manufacturing setting) or equivalent process industry or consumer products manufacturing experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical and/or Mechanical preferred) or Chemistry
Proficient in MS office, Statistical analysis (Minitab, etc).
SAP experience desirable.
Nice to have: Experience in lean, six sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.

Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.

Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.

Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.
Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification (The company will provide it if needed.) Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications: Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks. Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills. Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primarily responsible for lab testing and field trials for new product development, field training of TM's and installers on product installations and system set up and maintenance.
Also acts as a technical liaison for field personnel and various internal departments.
Essential Functions
Conducts on-going market research for Product Managers and marketing services.
Performs laboratory, forensic analysis for field failures and for the purpose of making product recommendations.
Provides product and application training for sales engineers and field sales managers as required.
Provides field training and project management for foreign affiliates and for large or complex projects.
Assists in new product development including lab work, field trials, commercial scale-up and field follow-up.
Special order custom product needs and provides approval for both experimental and discontinued products.
Enters new product information (formula, in-process, updates, price and cost) into system.
Maintains technical literature and creates and edits various technical and promotional publications (i.e., Tech Lines, product Corners, Product Information Guide, Engineering Details).
Provides outside sales support as well as handles incoming calls and lead qualification
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
Requires travel within company plants, distribution facilities, installations throughout the globe but focus is North America
Must possess reliable transportation.
Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
