We are working with our client, a leading financial services firm, on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Specialist - Pension Drawdown to join the team in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end pension technical process and timely delivery of complex tasks.
Skills/Experience:
Extensive technical experience within pension/platform administration gained preferably in a pension/platform/financial services environment.
Extensive knowledge of pension regulations
Strong understanding of pension/platform operations, processes and procedures
Experience with relevant software and systems (e.g.
Origo, SIPP Pro)
Experience in managing and leading teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Core Responsibilities:
Servicing as a subject matter expert on pensions and platform related issues, particularly within DC, Money Purchase Personal Pension / SIPPs /SSASs
Pension flexibilities, auto enrolment pension, taxation and Pension Drawdown experience
Understanding pension legislation, regulations and scheme-specific rules
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, often involving complex and detailed calculations, regulatory/legal interpretations.
Death Benefit Payments, Divorce & Disputes Management
Ensuring all platform & pension processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Handling complaints and escalated issues related to pension schemes.
Ensuring adherence to relevant pension legislation and regulations.
Complaint/Internal Dispute resolution Procedures (IDRP) processes with the Compliance and Risk Support.
Oversee the end-to-end pension technical process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of complex tasks.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pensions technical operations and implement process improvements.
Managing breach reporting, Death Benefit Management, Pension Discretions, Overpayments.
Lead and supervise the pensions technical team, ensuring colleagues performing their roles effectively and efficiently.
Identify areas for improvement within platform/pension operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Position Summary
Rust-Oleum is seeking a highly driven and strategic National Architectural Coatings Sales Specialist to play a critical role in the launch and expansion of our architectural paint portfolio across the Paint Channel, Hardware, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) segments.
This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and commercial leader, partnering with field sales, distribution, and key accounts to accelerate adoption, drive specification, and deliver profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead national sales efforts supporting the architectural coatings launch, ensuring alignment across Paint, Hardware, and MRO channels
Act as the technical and commercial expert on architectural coatings, providing product training, application guidance, and competitive positioning
Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Distributor Sales Teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
Drive pull-through demand by working with contractors, facility managers, and end users to influence product specification and conversion
Build and execute channel-specific growth strategies to expand distribution, increase shelf presence, and improve share of wallet
Conduct joint sales calls and field rides to coach and elevate sales execution across the organization
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launch and lifecycle management
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategy and optimize performance
Support national and regional trade shows, customer events, and training sessions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in architectural coatings, paint, or related building products industry
Proven success in multi-channel sales environments, including Paint, Hardware, and/or MRO distribution
Strong understanding of coatings applications, contractor needs, and specification selling
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through collaboration
Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
Willingness to travel nationally (50-70%)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience launching new products or entering new market segments
Established relationships with key distributors, contractors, or national accounts

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000, bonus eligible.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Support Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof.
They oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper roof repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work.
Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings.
Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
Attend pre-cons on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to:
Peel tests
Product testing
Product recommendations
Proper product installations
Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials.
Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation.
Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation.
Conduct on-site safety audits to ensure all safety requirements are met and consult with the safety team as needed.
Review and train on large warranty adjustment projects over ten (10) man days.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team.
Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable.
Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested.
Support the region as needed when weather conditions prevent the fulfillment of daily job responsibilities.
Facilitate training in a classroom setting.
All other Quality Control Inspection related tasks or training as assigned by the manager.
Travel predominantly within assigned territory and nationally when needed, complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.
