Responsible for Work In Progress (WIP) targets
Checking parts stock on SAP.
Communicate updates to our customers to ensure they are always informed of job status
Actively represent our customers interests in the areas of Work Quality and Quality of products dispatched
Build customer relationships in a professional manner through a solution orientated approach.
Promote the usage of our own engineers with our customers when required
Identify and quote accurate parts and services to customers
Ensure any problems are resolved in a timely manner or escalated through the correct channels
Participate in positive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Support all activities within the Aftermarket department as required
There is a rota: in the office to cover the late shift until 6pm which will be required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
One-year certificate from college, technical school or manufacturing training program. One additional year of experience plus high school diploma/GED in lieu of higher education is acceptable. Two additional years of experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Maintenance Technician III: 3+ years of experience
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The Role of the Quarry Operative
The Quarry Operative will be based in the Plant in Cambridge.
HOURS ARE 7.00am – 17.00pm Mon – Friday, every 3rd Sat 7.00am – 12.00pm
Working for this market leading manufacturer of building products.
Working the Weighing Bridge, Maintenance, Cleaning of Bridge, General Support.
Responsibility for your own Health and Safety and any visitors or contractors to your site.
Promoting and complying with, Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Responsibility for the accurate production of building products
Ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.
Benefits of the Quarry Operative
Salary £22k - £25k
Overtime
Mon – Friday 7.00am-5.00pm
Every third Saturday 7.00-12.00pm
Bonus, Holiday plus bank holidays

The Ideal Person for the Quarry Operative
Ideally you will have experience working in the construction sector in a hands-on role e.g., Plant Operative, Recycling Operative, Site Worker, Yardman, Labourer.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible and have excellent inter-personal skills.
Flexibility and initiative are essential for this demanding and rewarding position.
A good level of physical fitness.
A basic understanding of batching systems would be desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Previous experience in Aggregates production would be beneficial.
