The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth across your territory, supporting both existing customers and new business development opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Growing sales of genuine automotive parts to independent garages and workshops.
Building strong relationships with existing customers and developing account performance.
Identifying and converting new business opportunities across the territory.
Promoting manufacturer campaigns, initiatives, and sales promotions.
Delivering engaging and consultative sales presentations.
Expanding and maintaining a robust customer database.
Providing exceptional customer service to drive customer loyalty and retention.
Planning and managing your territory effectively to maximise sales opportunities.
Monitoring local market activity and identifying growth opportunities.
Working collaboratively with dealership and manufacturer teams to support business objectives.

The Role
We are looking for Retail Stock Counters to add to our already successful team.
This a casual role which means you can control the days you work
Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment such as ladders or steps may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock.
Key Skills/ Experience Required
Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and throughout the night when required.
As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over.
You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts when required on large counts.
With our innovative business, the technology changes and progresses and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
A good understanding of the English language is essential

Applicants will ideally be based within Essex, Kent or East Anglia, with locations such as Chelmsford, Brentwood, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Colchester, Maidstone, Dartford, Tonbridge, Ashford, Canterbury, Ipswich, Cambridge and surrounding areas being particularly well suited to the territory.
What You'll Need
Proven success in a field sales, territory sales or business development role.
Experience within the automotive aftermarket is essential.
Strong understanding of the independent garage, workshop, vehicle repair or bodyshop sector.
A track record of generating new business opportunities and winning new customers.
Confidence in prospecting, cold calling, territory planning and self-generating appointments.
Experience selling automotive products, services, software, diagnostics, workshop solutions or related technologies would be highly advantageous.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage business owners, workshop managers and technicians.
Comfortable conducting product demonstrations using a laptop and Microsoft Office applications.
Highly self-motivated, resilient and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
What You'll Be Doing
New business acquisition will be your primary focus, identifying, prospecting and winning new garage and workshop customers throughout your territory.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, customer referrals and territory management.
Maximise opportunities generated through marketing activities whilst taking ownership of your own lead generation strategy.
Conduct product demonstrations and present the commercial benefits of the solution to prospective customers.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to customer sign-up and onboarding.
Develop relationships with independent garages, workshop groups, service and repair centres, MOT stations and vehicle repair specialists.
Maintain accurate records, sales activity and opportunities within the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
Attend automotive industry events and trade shows, leveraging your aftermarket knowledge to generate and convert opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing, customer support and wider sales teams to maximise customer success and market penetration.
Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and business growth targets.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a genuine sales hunter with a passion for winning new business and a strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket.
You enjoy being in front of customers, opening new accounts and building long-term commercial relationships.
Whether your background is in diagnostics, workshop equipment, automotive software, motor factors, technical sales, fleet solutions or automotive services, you'll understand the challenges faced by modern workshops and be able to communicate value effectively.
