JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g.
Hot Work, LOTO, Confined Space) Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of PM program Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e.
HVAC, Steam Boilers, Air Compressors, Tow motors, Cooling Towers, Hot Oil Heaters) Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g.
programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, lighting) and components (e.g.
sensors, switches, valves) Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace and maintain facility mechanical systems (e.g.
product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components (e.g.
piping, manual valves), Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, Assist Maintenance Supervisor to arrange and coordinate contractor tasks (including equipment rental) to support facility and process maintenance/repairs, Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
One year certificate from college or technical school Ohio State Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent as deemed by the company Two to four years related experience and/or training Journeyman card in various disciplines Industrial Technology program graduate Experience in LEAN manufacturing Experience in chemical/coating processing & production Experience in dispensing operations Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self-motivated, quick learner Excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:
Performs job duties and/or tasks assigned by Supervision.
Job duties particularly include the areas of shipping/receiving, inventory warehouse, grinding, and reactor operation in a manner in which all procedures, rules, and regulations are strictly followed.
Tasks include any needed work effort that appropriately enhances the Twinsburg Facility. Capable of training other Plant Operators in the areas of shipping/receiving, grinding, and reactor operations dependent upon individual experience and proficiency in area of concern. Communicates problems to Supervisors or Plant Manager in a timely and accurate manner. Exhibits team attitude in all aspects of job performance including such things as working with R&D, Quality Control, Maintenance and other Manufacturing personnel to minimize the generation of substandard product as well as the successful introduction of new products into the Facility processes. Assists Supervisors in keeping track of supplies
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent necessary.
Must have good communication skills with a cooperative and discipline attitude to assure appropriate work ethic.
Requires the ability to lift 60 lbs. Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Requirements:
Management responsibility for Legend Brands Environmental, Health, and Safety programs including chemical compliance Act as primary interface to multiple agencies to maintain commercial and governmental compliance of Legend Brand products and facilities Manage Safety program and oversee Safety Team Meetings Maintain EHS records Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company Prepare and schedule trainings to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics Monitor compliance with safety procedures Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in in EHS or a related field or equivalent work experience 4-6 years related industry experience Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and related EHS software Ability to research, understand, communicate regulatory standards such as OSHA, WSHA and other regulations Broad understanding of EHS and other regulatory compliance issues Prior supervisory experience Ability to effectively work independently as well with a team to accomplish mutual objectives Strong desire to assist internal and external customers in a pleasant manner Strong organizational skills with the ability to continually adapt to changing needs of the department and the employee population with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to perform well under pressure, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events while meeting deadlines and necessary objectives Ability to travel to other locations as needed Six Sigma Certification, CQE or CQA preferred
Hiring Range:
Between $102,000 - $120,000/Annually
