An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Team Leader to join a busy engineering depot in Swanley.
This role is ideal for a skilled Senior Engineer or Workshop Supervisor looking to take the next step into leadership while remaining hands-on within the workshop environment.
As a Workshop Team Leader, you will support the Workshop Manager in ensuring the day-to-day running of the engineering team, maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality.
You will act as the first point of contact for engineers, providing technical support, leadership, and guidance to ensure the team consistently delivers excellent customer service. This role combines technical engineering expertise with team leadership, ensuring equipment is prepared to the highest standard while managing workshop performance and key operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
As a Workshop Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership: Act as the first point of contact for engineers, supporting and guiding the team in daily workshop operations.
Workshop Performance: Work with the Workshop Manager to monitor and achieve workshop KPIs including equipment turnaround time, preparation targets, and job completion metrics.
Engineering Support: Provide first-level technical escalation and support engineers with complex diagnostics and repairs.
Work Planning & WIP Management: Ensure jobs are completed on time and within agreed service targets while maintaining accurate documentation.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of engineering quality and ensure equipment is prepared to required standards.
Health & Safety Leadership: Lead all health & safety initiatives including safety audits, risk assessments, near miss reporting, and accident investigations.
Team Development: Support engineer performance management through coaching, engagement, training needs identification, and development planning.
Resource Management: Manage engineering coverage including absence management and holiday approvals.
Communication: Lead team meetings to communicate business objectives, workshop performance, and operational updates.
Workshop Standards: Ensure strong housekeeping and 5S workshop standards are maintained and audited regularly.
Engineering Responsibilities
Alongside leadership duties, you will also remain involved in hands-on engineering work including:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and equipment preparation
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Performing preventative maintenance and safety checks
Ensuring equipment meets operational and safety standards before delivery
You will work with a wide range of equipment including:
Electric pallet trucks
Counterbalance forklifts
Narrow aisle equipment
Engine-powered industrial trucks
What Were Looking For
To be successful in this Workshop Team Leader role, candidates should have:
Experience working as a Workshop Engineer, Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Vehicle Technician
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical or engineering discipline, or strong industry experience
Proven team leadership or supervisory experience within an engineering environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Excellent communication and people management skills
Experience managing workshop workloads and performance targets
Good IT skills and experience using digital service systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A proactive and motivated approach to problem solving
A full UK driving licence
Experience working with plant machinery, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial vehicles, or material handling equipment would be highly advantageous.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator on a Fixed Term Basis for 6 months to join the team within Fugro based in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.
The Payroll Administrator will assist the Payroll Officer with the administration of the monthly and weekly payrolls.
They will update employee records and perform duties necessary for the calculation of accurate wages and salaries of employees.

Ensure quality control and quality management of all scope items.
Verify that all project work complies with contract documents.
Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self-perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, ensuring specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards.
Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes using available tools, including collaboration with the RBM.
Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction.
Aid in the takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed.
Participate in CG/CM, Sales Team, and Ops Management-related coordination and collaboration.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.
The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel.
Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include:
Proper completion of all services and related paperwork.
Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region.
Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.
Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
30-hour OSHA certification (The company will provide it if needed.)
Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications:
Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control.

Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.

Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep.
Monitor and manage the Field Reps.
Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation.
Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Is responsible for managing all Self-Perform Projects and the associated customers (Including GC and large-scale P&R, TremCare, etc).
This involves working with the Project Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Sales Reps associated with the project, to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and manage self-perform crews via daily interaction and oversight of the crew foreman.
When subcontractors are necessary or present on the majority of self-perform projects, act as a liaison to the CM for boots-on-the-ground subcontractor oversight (as needed).
Implement and understand project administration requirements.
Create, update, and communicate project schedules and updates.
Control expectations and challenges to keep the project on schedule and running efficiently.
Ensure quality control and quality management of all scope items.
Verify that all project work complies with contract documents.
Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self-perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, ensuring specifications are followed according to Tremco standards.
Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes using available tools, including collaboration with the RBM.
Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction.
Aid in the takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed.
Participate in coordination and collaboration with CG/CM, Sales Team, and Ops Management.
Provide QA and QC inspections and training at all levels of work to achieve the highest standards of Tremco/WTI roofing practices, ensuring the Tremco Sales team increases their market share of performed work to WTI.
These areas include:
Field applications - existing and new materials, systems, applications, etc.
Customer service
Reporting compliance
Communicate on a routine basis with the RBM regarding:
Safety compliance results
Project approvals, planning, and results
Personnel and process management
All issues that require collaboration or elevation of authority

JOB DESCRIPTION
General Purpose:
To provide safety leadership to all Tremco CPG field employees (including but not limited to Regional Techs, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensure site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct both virtual and physical visits to perform site safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance)
*This should take place at least 75-80% of the week.

Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner, and Tremco regulations throughout all regional projects.
Assist site leadership in developing site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning, and equipment.
Assist the Director of Health and Safety with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new or updated policies (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs).
Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems.
Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance with our subcontractors with applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco, and their own).
Act as a subject matter resource for workers within the field in producing a documented assessment of safe working processes, risk potentials, and solutions/corrective measures.
Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively.
Review the safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicate to the Field Leadership and Safety Supervisors.
Assist the Director of Health and Safety with EHS Notification and Incident Investigation processes, as well as implementation of response action items.
Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy.
Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed.
Ensure injured workers are offered modified duties, and documentation has been completed.
Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field.
As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with the Director of Health and Safety and prepare observation reports as needed.
At minimum must have 30 Hr.
OSHA Training.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities.
Experience in the building maintenance and/or general construction safety industries strongly preferred.
Work remotely with the ability to travel 75% or greater

JOB DESCRIPTION
General Purpose:
To provide safety leadership to all Tremco CPG field employees (including but not limited to Regional Techs, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensure site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct both virtual and physical visits to perform site safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance)
*This should take place at least 75-80% of the week.

Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner, and Tremco regulations throughout all regional projects.
Assist site leadership in developing site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning, and equipment.
Assist the Director of Health and Safety with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new or updated policies (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs).
Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems.
Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance with our subcontractors with applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco, and their own).
Act as a subject matter resource for workers within the field in producing a documented assessment of safe working processes, risk potentials, and solutions/corrective measures.
Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively.
Review the safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicate to the Field Leadership and Safety Supervisors.
Assist the Director of Health and Safety with EHS Notification and Incident Investigation processes, as well as implementation of response action items.
Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy.
Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed.
Ensure injured workers are offered modified duties, and documentation has been completed.
Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field.
As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with the Director of Health and Safety and prepare observation reports as needed.
At minimum must have 30 Hr.
