What will you do?

JOB PURPOSE:
The Corporate Project Engineer is accountable for leading strategic CapEx engineering projects within Manufacturing Operations with a focus primarily on Mechanical Engineering.
This includes executing engineering projects for capital installations $200,000+, project management ownership from design through startup, and long-range technical planning and strategies for the business.
The role also leads the creation and maintenance of engineering design specifications, guidelines, and standards.
Principle Accountabilities:
Responsible for capital project execution including equipment selection, justification, CapEx processing, purchasing, installation, and start-up support efforts Engineering Design - Assist in engineering design specifications and Techno-Economic Models including process design, P&ID, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, and financial analyses (CapEx, OpEX, NPV) Support & bolster the Engineering Work Process providing strategic direction and support to build and enhance the work process Engineers within the team on large projects can be assigned specific portions of capital projects based on expertise and workload availability including project management, technical design of packaging equipment & paint making/processing equipment, and construction management.
Project Management - Manage projects using the Engineering Work Process from conceptual design through successful startup transition to the local plant team.
This includes managing budget, timeline, and deliverables to ensure projects meet established success criteria. Design - Recommend, and implement manufacturing systems that are designed for machine, human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability.
Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses. Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts. Apply the Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations, building code, and NFPA fire code to capital projects and design specifications Manage external Engineering Firm resources on large capital projects Frequent interface with corporate staff, plant staff, operators, and maintenance personnel across a 3-shift operation
Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Electrical Engineers with hands-on related experience will also be considered. 5 years Minimum in plant engineering support role with hands-on experience in engineering, process design, continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment, project management and project start-up verification Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical communication skills, with the ability to lead and thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments Commitment to safety, ethical behavior, and respect for people, ensuring adherence to industry standards, governmental regulations and company values Willingness to travel frequently to support capital project assignments.
Travel will be variable, depending on ongoing project needs (~20-30%) Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be a part of Carboline Global Continuous Improvement Team supporting the development and execution of continuous improvement projects at the Lake Charles, LA manufacturing facility.

Collaborates with operations manager and/or plant engineering on modification of equipment and processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency and quality. Works together with R&D, engineering, and plant resources to develop and implement continuous improvement projects. Collaborates with R&D on process development - Including reviewing and approving proposed manufacturing procedures for new products. Provides technical support and consultation to the Quality Control department.
Specifically, regarding recovery plans for off-specification, obsolete, and problem finished goods. Monitors the consistency of production using SQC, SPC, or other appropriate techniques. Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Leadership role in effort to recertify and reclaim Non-Conforming material.
Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Continuously challenging the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in our operating areas. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. Selection and development of tools and fixtures for improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commitment to the Company's Safety and Quality programs.
Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations.
Requirements:
4 years Chemistry, Engineering degree or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years' experience in a CI role. Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred Green Belt. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Filler/Packager is responsible to fill product using at least one of the different types of packaging machines.
The operator will organize the area, collect materials such as pails, cans, cartridges or films, and set up the filling and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities include gathering required labels and casing materials.
Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc.
Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Neatly assemble and place all required materials from the fill card to be used in their appropriate location throughout the shift. Read and follow filling procedures to package material into cartridges, chubs, or one, two and five-gallon units. Follow and meet the established production schedules. Properly use the filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area following written standard operating procedures. Assist in the waste segregation and recycling program. Branch Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager / Warehouse Manager / Depot Manager to oversee and execute daily activities in either Inbound (receiving, put away/replenishment) or Outbound (pick, pack, and ship) operations within Branch / Distribution site.
This role is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
As the Branch Manager / Warehouse Manager / Depot Manager, you will play a key role in training, scheduling, and leading the team.
You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in Health and Safety compliance and ensuring all employees operate with a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Ideal Location: Witham, Essex, Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, Halstead, Maldon, Coggeshall
Salary: Circa £45K Basic + pension, 25 days Annual Leave Plus BH (32 days total) employee assistance program, Life Assurance, free onsite parking, kitchen facilities
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily Branch / Warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow across Inbound and Outbound processes.
Assist in staffing, training, and lead the team to meet productivity goals.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations, providing a safe working environment for all staff.
Maintain customer satisfaction through same-day shipment of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging using internal or freight forwarders.
Lead the service desk team in organizing and prioritizing customer jobs.
Monitor warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure all metrics are met or exceeded.
Oversee the site's compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and ensure all team members are properly trained and certified for equipment use.
Coordinate and direct quarterly physical stock takes, ensuring accurate data input and record keeping.
Investigate supplier performance issues, working with the Procurement team to implement corrective actions.
Functional knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Operating Systems.
Experience in change management and digital transformation is essential.
Understanding of Process Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma is a benefit.
Ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions to meet business goals.

Quality Assurance Specialist - Cambridge
A growing Medical Devices company based in Cambridge is currently looking for a new Quality Assurance Specialist to assist in the development of the QMS system for ISO 13485 standards.
They are open to candidates from alternative sectors, allowing for ISO 13485 standards training.
You will also be creating and managing technical files for several Medical Devices lines, including Class I, Class IIa and Class IIb Medical Devices.
You'll collaborate with a number of Medical Devices experts, but you will be the sole person focusing on Quality Assurance duties.
However, you will receive Quality Assurance assistance from the parent company's Quality Assurance Manager.
Due to this, we are open to candidates who only have a couple of years of experience of ISO 9001 or QMS, but also keen to hear from people with more experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone a couple of years into their career and looking for more responsibility to lead the development of a QMS system, or for someone who is looking for a route into the Medical Devices sector under ISO 13485 standards.
Due to the active work in setting up the QMS system, you will need to be in the office daily; however, over time there should be the opportunity for hybrid working.
It is expected that you would hold a degree in a subject that has led you into a Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Design Assurance role.
Apart from having a Quality Assurance background, it would also be highly advantageous if you have a good understanding of Regulatory Affairs.
Part of your role will involve working alongside the manufacturing teams for these medical devices.
Due to this, it would be highly beneficial if your Medical Devices Quality Assurance experience came from a Quality Engineering background, although this is not essential.
