Senior Systems Engineer, Cloud and Compute (for our Cloud and On-Prem Engineering and Operations team)
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to join our high-performing Cloud and Compute engineering team at a multibillion-dollar global organization.

Migrating and building workloads in Azure as part of our cloud transformation journey
Modernizing and upgrading our ESXi infrastructure

In this role, you'll contribute to the technical direction of application hosting, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across infrastructure, application development, networking and security to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design, optimize, and implement application hosting solutions in both Azure cloud and on-premise data centers that meet the demands of the business.
Evaluate the current and upcoming infrastructure stack from a security perspective and provide hardening recommendations.
Virtualization and Windows optimization & performance
Active Directory domain consolidations
Coordinates and supports information security efforts in server, virtualization and storage.
This includes working with application developers and database administrators to plan and implement application security within application environments.
Thus providing guidance on risks and vulnerabilities related to common application protocols, web services security, and end user systems.
Scripting and automation of application hosting and storage maintenance
Disaster and Site Recovery
Take part in life cycle management/ refresh of equipment
Systems management and alerting, which may include nonbusiness hours on-call support rotation as needed.
Collaborate with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development to restore service and/or identify problems
Assist with other facets of IT operations and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
10+ years in engineering role for application hosting for global entities with $3B+ in annual revenue.
10+ years with MS Server and Virtualization platforms (VMWare & MS Hypervisor)
10+ years with mass storage units (HP Storage, IBM storage, etc.)
10+ years with ITIL processes and industry best practices for application hosting
5+ years with Azure IaaS and PaaS experience
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education.
Excellent oral and written communication
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a timely fashion.
Ability to support cross-team collaboration to ensure your focus area integrates with the overall solutions.
Experience with IBM Power Systems and AS400 is a plus.
MCSE, Security, ITIL, and/or Azure certifications are a plus.
Salary: $145,000 - $170,000, bonus eligible

The primary result expected from the Maintenance Mechanic will be to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the facility in repair by Pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Here's what you can expect: • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. • Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Required Skills: • 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required • Ability to do basic math. • Accurately enter and retrieve computer data. • Ability to operate machinery • Ability to solve problems in a team environment. • Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds. • Willing to work overtime as required. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Technical Representative for Facades ensures proper application of Tremco CPG Modulite products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application and problem resolution.
This position works remote and supports the North Central Region.
You must be willing to travel within the region.
We prefer you live in the Minneapolis / St Paul area.
Modulite has everything you need for the construction of 2D panelized walls systems, 3D modular units and prefabricated building components.
We manufacture exterior wall panels and supply materials to modular manufacturers and panel fabricators, such as:
Sealants & adhesives
Air and weather barriers
Spray foams
Firestopping
Continuous insulation & exterior cladding
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide independent support for primary territory product lines.
Recommend products and solutions outside of primary product lines with occasional direction.
Provide site support by performing general and complex product applications.
Perform substrate analysis using specialty equipment.
Keep up-to-date technically on practical procedures, specialized techniques to apply new knowledge within the field.
Provide field support by collecting data for project or product specific testing and interpreting results.
Recommend application policies within technical literature.
Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals
Provide live and/or web-based training for internal staff and/or external customers.
Create instructional hands-on demonstrations in a classroom, distributor locations, or job site settings showing application of products.
Exercise clear and confident communication of product lines and construction practices during presentation delivery.

EDUCATION:
