Key Responsibilities
Reviewing current and developing new risk management strategies, following up on compliance issues that require further investigation and advising internal management on dealing with said issues
Conducting internal reviews and audits
Updating the firms' employees on the firms' policies, regulations and processes and ensuring they are compliant with the same
Evaluating the firms' compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place
Overseeing the onboarding team, who are responsible for AML checks and initial documentation for clients
About You
At least 3 years risk and compliance experience gained ideally within a law firm (applications from those within other professional services backgrounds are encouraged to apply)
Analytical with strong communication and organisation skills
Knowledgeable on SRA regulations

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively and efficiently run a caseload that will consist of OIC and MOJ RTA claims with the intention of maximising damagers for our client by considering and pursuing all relevant heads of loss.
- To identify and flag vulnerable clients from the outset and flag any vulnerability on the system, accurately record why those vulnerabilities have required extra time, care, and attention when you speak to the client.

Experience & Knowledge
- A Solicitor, ILEX qualified or file handler of substantial experience of running their own caseload within the personal injury field.
- A proven track record of running your own successful caseload ideally within a claimant personal injury environment.
- A good working knowledge of the CPR, relevant case law and legislation as well as experience of progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR.
- To understand the Intermediate Track Fixed Fee regime introduced in October 2023.

The role will involve working closely with senior lawyers on a broad mix of trust administration, tax planning, and probate matters.
You'll play a key part in delivering a high-quality, personal service to a varied client base, while developing your skills within a genuinely supportive team.
Your main job role will be:
- Managing a portfolio of trust and estate matters, including tax planning and compliance.
- Preparing trust accounts, tax returns, and IHT forms and liaising with HMRC where needed.
- Attending and minuting trustee meetings, and handling trust distributions.
- Interpreting trust deeds and advising on investment policy statements.
- Keeping colleagues and clients updated throughout, and contributing to billing and client reporting.
- Supporting junior team members and sharing technical knowledge.
What theyre looking for:
- Previous experience in private client work, ideally with a focus on trusts and estate administration.
- Someone confident in managing client relationships and working collaboratively with others.
- Excellent attention to detail, good judgement, and a calm, methodical approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with CCH or similar tax software would be helpful (but not essential).
- STEP or equivalent professional tax qualification preferred, but practical experience is equally valued.
