As a Care Officer you will:
Meet the care and recreation needs of the children with disabilities who are provided with short breaks
Ensure a safe and stimulating environment is maintained for the children
Work as a link worker, for an agreed number of children who are in receipt of short breaks liaising with the family to support the safe care of the young people
Ensure children's welfare is paramount and that child protection policies and protocols are adhered to at all times
Carry out high quality written and photographic observations, planning and assessments, identifying next steps for children's and young people's development
Actively promote and implement the short breaks service's vision, with a clear focus on children's/young people achievements and participation in purposeful and fun activities/programmes
Requirements
Must hold a relevant qualification at level 3 and a good standard of education
Experience of direct working, planning and delivering a range of activities and opportunities that provide a stimulating environment for children and young people with SEN, disabilities and complex needs
Experience of working in partnership with parents/families to improve outcomes for children/young people
Knowledge of good practice standards in childcare/short breaks settings and an ability to apply these practice standards to day to day services and short breaks provision/activities

Provide technical maintenance advice to support business decisions, including liaising with operations managers, supervisors, trade staff, sub-contractors, external contractors or consultants.
Requirements:
Effective interpersonal skills, including teamwork, networking and negotiation skills with the ability to positively motivate all stakeholders, whilst building trusted relationships
A motivated and enthusiastic individual, who can work under pressure and prioritise workloads to deliver an outstanding service to the partnered departments
Possess a commercially astute approach with a focus on obtaining value for money.
Experience in building maintenance or building surveying
Relevant degree or HND/HNC level in Building Surveying or equivalent construction related qualification.

Are you an experienced PCB Design Engineer who is looking to join a world leading renewable energy R & D company, focusing on an existing aerospace and aviation project founded by the government, based on Loughborough?
The exciting opportunity is at a Midlands (easy commute from Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Birmingham) based R & D company who are pioneering a new fuel cell technology which is in pole position to replace the current alkaline fuel-cell technology.

Due to a period of sustained growth, they are looking for a PCB Design Engineer with experience of designing high reliability, multi-layer power, and analogue and digital PCBs to join their multi-skilled R&D team, where you will be involved with the development of products for use in applications ranging from small portable power devices to motive and industrial power systems.
As the PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing a range of complex electronics based products.
You will also be involved in researching and prototyping new technologies and methods to improve customer workflows.
The ideal candidate for this PCB Design Engineer job will have:
Strong experience in multi-layered PCB design.
Previous experience in using Altium designer would be ideal, but any packages considered.
Exposure to PCB assembly build packs including: Bill of Materials (BOMs), Fit-lists, Pick and Place files, assembly drawings, etc.
An understanding of electronic engineering / circuit design.
Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team.

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
My client is a global centre of excellence, specialising in the design and manufacture of electronic controllers, instrumentation, and drives.
The role as the Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne will be leading the NPI Development team and will be responsible for liaising with the relevant design staff to ensure the overall quality and delivery of new parts, to the highest standards.
You will also work to ensure the proposed design concepts can be manufactured cost-effectively.
You will oversee the prototype build of products in question, prepare relevant documentation and actively participate in PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and DFMEs (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis).
This role will also require you to work with Operations personnel to allow for the optimisation and layout of the assembly areas, as well as the assembly tooling used in the NPI build.
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer must have experience with PCBA and leading a manufacturing or production team.
As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne, you will have experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) role within electronics assembly, and/or PCB/cable assembly or electronics box build as well as experienced in the use of ERP/MRP systems (SAP Preferable).
You will also have an Engineering Degree or equivalent and provable experience in a similar position.
Awareness of all types of electronic printed circuit assembly techniques is beneficial.
