The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems. Our Weatherproofing Technologies Division currently seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial construction projects to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for jobsite safety, resolving project issues and problems, scheduling and providing coordination between subcontractors and owner operations, quality and affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards, project costs and generating reports on project status, and ensuring owner satisfaction. This position requires 5-10 years' experience in commercial construction or 5 years as a foreman.
You must be able to keep project records and interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management.

Also, responsibilities will include Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
Core understanding of General building standards knowledge, Scheduling, Shop drawing review.
OSHA 10 Hour Certification is required.
Deep understanding of all Construction Management tasks, understanding of Superintendent roles & responsibilities communications, Superior written, oral and digital communication skills, Able to create performance reporting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Specification Development Stage:
Works with Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project. Completion of specification request and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager.
Pre-Proposal Stage:
Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distribute completed Pre-Proposal meeting documentation to all applicable parties.
Assist Construction Manager in reviewing of proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by Construction Manager.
Pre-Construction Stage:
Publish Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meeting and and distribute completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required.
Construction Stage:
Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensures they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all applicable parties. Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. What will you do?
A penchant for business development, working out of your own office, you'll meet & engage new and repeat customers in your territory; assessing their needs, you will provide a truly consultative Stonhard solution. Customer sales calls include a mix of existing/repeat business along with prospecting for new customers and projects. Closely work with your manager to meet & exceed sales goals. Participate in overseeing the successful delivery of product installation, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
Project management responsibilities include ensuring raw materials are on site, construction crews have everything they need and troubleshooting any installation issues that may come up. Full turn-key operation ensures a smooth install and helps secure next project in another area or building. Will participate in an enriching training process spanning over two years, traveling to our headquarters for pre-planned, scheduled training(s).
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Uncapped Commission potential (First 2 years): approx.
$15,000 - $50,000
Supplemental Pay Types:Commission Pay, Bonus Pay

What is required?
Experience in B2B, end user sales; construction, commercial or industrial is preferred. Proven Success in Business Development and Project management; interacting at all levels. Strong capacity to learn a new industry. High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and self-motivation.
