Duties include:
- To prepare fabricated parts for wet painting including drilling, fettling, filling,
sanding shot blasting, sealing, washing, cleaning degreasing, and masking of
components.
- Using power tools for drilling, grinding, and sanding component surfaces in line with the company's processes
- Masking of threads and bores to protect from shot blast damage and paint ingress
- Handling these components through the blast equipment and washing equipment to achieve a good surface finish and high cleanliness level ready to accept the paint.
- Hanging components in an efficient manner for priming, painting, and baking
