We are currently recruiting 2 x Coppersmiths / Pipefitters for a dayshift contract position with one of our key marine industry clients.
This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team supporting a high-profile shipbuilding or vessel maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Coppersmith / Pipefitter:
•Carry out copper and general pipefitting works on marine vessels and components
•Install, maintain and repair pipe systems and related fittings across a variety of sizes and materials (e.g., copper, stainless steel, mild steel)
•Work from detailed engineering drawings, isometric and schematic layouts
•Pressure test, flush, and inspect systems in line with QA requirements
•Collaborate closely with welders, mechanical fitters, and project supervisors
•Maintain safe working practices and adhere to HSE standards on site
•General fabrication and repair duties where required
•Support ad hoc tasks to assist the day shift team as needed
Essential Skills & Qualifications of the Coppersmith / Pipefitter:
•Proven experience in a marine or shipbuilding environment (highly desirable)
•Strong background in copper pipework installation and/or repair
•Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently
•NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
•Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and equipment
•Familiarity with MOD, commercial or offshore vessel standards (advantageous)
•Reliable, flexible, and a proactive team player
•Eligibility to work in the UK

A successful Commercial Property team in Leeds City Centre with a national reputation is looking to expand and therefore requires a skilled Commercial Property Solicitor to join them.
Our client is a highly regarded law firm handling both national and local work of a very good standard, much of it for household named clients.

The Commercial Property team has recently seen an influx of high-quality work and needs to recruit to help service this, the work has both come via an upturn in existing clients and some new client wins.
They are looking for someone with the skills to be able to hit the ground running with an existing caseload under minimum supervision, c 1-5 years PQE would be ideal but they are flexible as it's the experience and attitude that are most important to them.
The work available has a particular focus on landlord and tenant matters, involving some complex transactions for the team's national client base which consists of some really well-known major clients. Having said that, you would be able to access a varied workload and if there are areas of particular interest, they are more than likely to be able to accommodate these by moving work around the team. The team is well supported by other departments in the firm such as construction and the property disputes team, giving you and them the ability to deliver at the highest level to clients.
Someone who is a strong communicator and who is able to build and maintain client relationships would fit in really well.

Previous experience of delivering in both an Agile/Scrum and iterative/Waterfall environment.
Robust artefact creation and documentation.
Formal BCS Diploma Business Analysis certification, or evidence of working towards BCS/ISEB Diploma (or similar level of accreditation) in the foreseeable future.
Nice to Have
Experience of Cloud Adoption projects and/or ERP SaaS solutions such as Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
Experience in property management processes such as Income Management, Rents, Service Charges, Leasehold, Estates, Tenancies, Allocations, Lettings, Repairs, Maintenance, Assets, Customers, or similar.
Lean or Lean Six Sigma accreditation.
As an individual you will have a strong and proven analytical background with working on large and complex projects and programmes from the concept stage through to the operational acceptance, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, be a self-starter comfortable with taking responsibility for delivery.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to think on your feet and be ultimately goal orientated.
