THE ROLE
As HR Assistant, you'll work closely with the HR team to provide an efficient and professional HR service across the business, ensuring employees and managers receive excellent support throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the full recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews and preparing offer documentation.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience.
Prepare contracts, letters and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain the HR system and employee records, ensuring all information is up to date.
Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
Support payroll administration by processing employee changes and ensuring accurate HR data.
Assist with absence management administration, probation reviews and performance processes.
Coordinate training and learning & development activities.
Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Produce HR reports and maintain accurate personnel records in line with GDPR requirements.
THE PERSON
Previous experience within an HR Administrator, Human Resources Assistant, or experience within the HR team.
Ideally working towards or holding a CIPD qualification.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, proactive and keen to build a long-term career in HR.

The Role
