ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
Run trash compactor in Plant #2 alley.
Keep alley clean. Clean tubs in Plant #1, by hand or by tub washer equipment as required. Pick up rags on a daily basis and store them in proper container.
Rags are watered down nightly in Plant #1. Load trash truck and sort skids. Clean all Lunch and Locker rooms in the manufacturing area. Keep up to Date inventory of cleaning supplies.
Order as needed. Run vacuum hoses in Plant #2 in designated areas. Do whatever cleaning inside or outside that is required. Maintain a clean work area. Safely operate all equipment associated with a given process.
Use prescribed safety equipment, when performing duties. Communicate any variations/problems to appropriate Management Personnel.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Have the ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand simple math.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must pass lift truck operator's test.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Reach/High Lift Operator you will be expected to receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, and products within the establishment by performing the following on a daily basis: Read orders to determine what products are to be pulled and put on pallets. Receive incoming materials, verifying amount received against packing slip, manifests, invoices or orders and noting any shortages. Prepare product/materials for shipment- supporting the continuous retrieving of material and staging at designated locations along the production line. Record shipment data- including weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for recordkeeping purposes. Support maintenance and organization of warehouse - including cleanliness and housekeeping. Partake in inventory records management- noting stock received and dispersed. Support security of the warehouse and inventory- letting only authorized personnel in warehouse area. Communicate with supervisors on any problems or issues that may arise such as damages, shortages or nonconformance to specifications- escalating further as required to management. Sort and place products and materials on racks, shelves and/or in bins according to product code. Open crates and other containers. Load trucks Perform all duties in accordance with Health and Safety Protocols and company policies.
Qualifications and Previous Experience:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year previous experience/certification for sit down forklift, stand up forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack- and ability to demonstrate proficiency on equipment. IT Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages- ability to maintain inventory records electronically. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Assist in the development of technical support tools such as product comparative guides, brochures, sell sheets, certification letters, website content, etc. Assist in product troubleshooting by proactively coordinating testing and analysis activities between sales representatives, customers, R&D/product development, customer service, and operations. Interact as a reliable peer, especially to sales representatives, product managers, marketing communications staff, customer service, business development, R&D/product development, and the operations group. Maintain electronic product technical files. Help plan and provide product training and demonstrations to internal and external customers. Occasional travel to construction jobsites or customer locations to provide product support may be required.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree or equivalent industry experience Previous call center support experience, or related field Construction and/or concrete knowledge preferred

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
Process orders, enter quotations, respond to customer inquiries by email and phone in a professional, courteous manner.
Follow up on orders to ensure customers are kept informed and that orders are shipped in a timely manner.
Work with forwarders and Shipping Team to coordinate export shipments.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Process/review and confirm orders within 24 hours within Departmental KPI for accuracy. Review open orders for yourself (and Team members in their absence) and report on status to Customer Service Management.
Inform customers of any date changes. Follow established policies/procedures. Enter customer quotations. Respond to customer/Sales/internal inquiries and requests by email or phone within Departmental KPIs for quality and responsiveness. Coordinate new account set-ups and payment terms with the Accounts Receivable Dept.
Maintain addresses, notes, contacts, and customer preferences as needed (within DayGlo's capabilities to meet).
Write up debits, credits, and complaints within Departmental KPIs for responsiveness. Assist entire Team whenever required. Refer all inquiries, requests or problems outside the scope of the Customer Service Rep.
to the appropriate Sales Rep., Department, or Manager to ensure prompt resolution and total customer satisfaction. Recruit customers to utilize our online order portal. Miscellaneous projects as assigned by Director or Team Lead. Periodically touch base with customers to see if they are in need of quotations, orders, etc.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience in the manufacturing industry. College degree preferred. ERP system experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft products: Excel, Word, Outlook in particular. Works well in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Detail-oriented and accurate. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory.
