Our global client based is looking for an in house Legal Counsel to join them on a permanent basis in their Edinburgh office.
The role will be hybrid working (based in the office 3 days a week) and will require someone with either an interest or experience in technology, but key for the role litigation experience (coupled ideally with financial services experience).
The role is a great opportunity for someone at the 2-5 years PQE level.
The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support globally on contentious work, including litigation and disputes, investigations, regulatory matters and complex contractual and strategic arrangements that present commercial, legal, regulatory and reputational risk.

Skills/Experience
Qualified lawyer with membership of the relevant UK or equivalent legal professional body.
Circa 2-5 years' post-qualification experience.
Experience working in or (in an advisory capacity) with large corporates and/or financial services firms, with exposure to contentious matters and experience in assessing, and advising on, risk and strategy in relation to complex commercial or contractual arrangements.
Knowledge of broader financial services regulatory frameworks.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to explain legal issues clearly and pragmatically to non-legal stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and perform effectively under pressure, including on sensitive or high-risk issues.
Collaborative team player with a global outlook and strong stakeholder-management skills.

THE ROLE
My client is now seeking two Project Managers to join them in Edinburgh to work on construction projects across Scotland.
They are wanting to employ people from around one year or more PM experience post graduation level to project managers who have recently become chartered with the RICS.
Good support will be given to project managers who are working towards becoming chartered.
Projects are varied and include healthcare buildings for public sector hospitals, golf courses, warehouses and more.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of construction consultants providing Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for various construction projects including new build, re-fit, refurbishment, alteration etc.
They have a selection of long standing clients and are extremely busy.
They are growing and now have several offices in Scotland.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Project Manager either at Graduate level with a minimum of one years post graduate project management experience or you may be recently chartered as a project manager with the RICS.
If you are not already chartered then ideally you may have started working towards taking the APC.
You need to have a BSc or MSc in Construction Project Management or similar subject in a built environment subject.
Ideally you will be working for a firm of construction consultants, multi discipline consultants or maybe with a main / principal contractor.
You should also be happy to work as part of a team as required.
You should be able to help to organise and run meetings, take minutes, make sure that the client's brief is adhered to and be able to keep the project moving to complete on time and within budget.
You must have excellent written and spoken English and be confident in dealing with people at all levels.
You should be forward thinking and ambitious with excellent client facing skills.
Salary will be negotiable according to your level of experience plus a range of company benefits along with good support to become chartered.

Business Development Manager - Automotive Product
I am recruiting on behalf of our client, for an experienced Business Development Manager / Field Sales Executive or Internal Sales Executive who wants to move into Field Sales.
The role is to manage a well-established territory within Scotlands central belt selling a full range of well-established specialist automotive products to the independent garage networks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven B2B sales professional who enjoys autonomy, relationship-building, and developing a territory with genuine earning potential.

The Role:
Covering a defined regional patch, you will be selling automotive aftermarket products directly to independent garages and automotive businesses.
The role combines new business development with ongoing account management, as repeat business and long-term customer relationships are key to success.
You will have the freedom to manage your own diary, plan your territory effectively, and take full ownership of performance within your region.
Technical automotive knowledge is helpful but not essential — strong sales ability, resilience, and commercial awareness are far more important.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in field sales, territory sales, or B2B sales
Confident and credible in face-to-face selling environments
A proactive, self-motivated approach
Strong relationship-building and account management skills
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a regional patch
Full UK driving licence
