Optometrist - Role
Small group of independent Opticians
Well established in the area
Single testing room practices
Working between a few branches all close together
Working alongside an experienced dispensing team
Advanced equipment - Phoropter and OCT
Optisoft computer system
Relaxed clinics with 40-50 minute tests including pre-screening and cleaning
Contact lens work
Working 4 or 5 days a week including a Saturday
Typical working hours are from 9am to 5pm
Basic salary between £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
Professional fees paid
Free parking

Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC

The Role of the Technical Sales Representative
As a Technical Sales Representative you will be supplying temporary works to civil contractors, ground workers and end users.?
Maintain and develop relationships with well-established customers whilst also closing for new business.
Providing Design Request Forms to enable temporary works designs.?
Manage appointments and schedules through efficient planning and time management.??
Liaising with internal staff within the Depots and Design teams to ensure the delivery of products.??
Communicating effectively with contractors on site and providing feedback regarding unexploited opportunities and competitors.?

The Ideal Person for the Technical Sales Representative??
The ideal candidate will be an experienced area sales manager/technical sales/field sales representative??
You will ideally have an understanding/sold Temporary works or shoring equipment?
However, individuals with experience of selling Plant/Rental Equipment or Civils related products are encouraged to apply.
Ideally you will have sold to main contractors, ground workers, civil engineers, sub contractors?
A degree in Civil Engineering would be beneficial but not essential??
The ideal Technical Sales Representative will be hungry, tenacious, and can build relationships over a period.?
You will want to build a career and develop with the company.?
Must have a full driving licence

Key Responsibilities:
Verification / Validation all product specifications have been met during the product manufacturing process
Processing customer concerns through the Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR / 8D) process to completion.
Identification, Investigation and disposition of non-conforming material through the Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) process
Processing customer concerns through the Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR / 8D) process
Participate in supplier QBRs with the production of supporting Quality data to aid the monitoring & measurement of supply chain
Monitor Supplier performance in relation to non-conforming product with regular internal / external communications, reviews and follow-up
Support and advise on product queries
Perform Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) as required
Reporting of QHSE Metrics / KPI's
To assist in the production of System Management documentation and reviews
Support NPI, product development and ‘first off' process approval
Carry out internal process and system audits with action follow-up and progression to closure (ISO9001 / ISO130485 / ISO45001 / ISO14001)

Key Qualification / Experience Requirements:
Educated to HNC or equivalent level in an Engineering/Quality related discipline.
Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001)
Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis, identify corrective and preventative measures and monitor effectiveness
Ability to conduct audits on Business systems and processes to meet ISO standards
Ability to prepare, analyse and report quality statistics internally and externally at all levels
A NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
An understanding of quality improvement programmes and IPC electronic assembly knowledge would be advantageous
An understanding of electronics or proven electronics experience
Good MRP knowledge e.g.
Javelin, SAP, BaaN etc.
