An opportunity has arisen for a Welder to join a well-established precision engineering company specialising in high-quality sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, and assembly for diverse industrial sectors.
As a Welder, you will be carrying out high-standard welding and fabrication work across different materials and assemblies.
This is a temporary role offering a salary range of £15.00 - £16.00 per hour and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Performing both MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
* Handling thin-gauge materials and smaller fabricated assemblies with precision.
* Maintaining consistent quality standards in all welding operations.
* Adhering to workplace safety procedures and ensuring all equipment is used correctly.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Welder, Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, Welding Technician, TIG Welder, MIG welder or in a similar role.
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* Ability to confidently interpret and work to detailed welding drawings.
* Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
* Competence in thin-gauge welding (up to 5mm) and handling small, lightweight assemblies.
* A flexible, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work.
