Providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support across telephone, remote access, email, and ticketing systemsDiagnosing and resolving complex IT incidents, acting as the go-to escalation point for 1st line technicians and apprenticesPlanning and delivering customer infrastructure projects end-to-end — from initial scoping through to handoverInstalling and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Hyper-V environments, plus networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backup, and cyber security solutionsCarrying out site surveys, migrations, upgrades, and technical assessmentsBuilding strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisorMentoring junior engineers and apprentices, and championing best practice across the team
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience in an MSP or customer-facing IT support environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows ServerSolid experience with networking, firewalls, backup, and disaster recoveryExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skillsA full UK driving licence

Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnershipsPreparing and submitting corporation tax and partnership tax returnsReviewing accounts, tax returns and bookkeepingPreparing and submitting VAT returnsProducing bookkeeping and management accountsManaging your own portfolio and ensuring deadlines are metCommunicating directly with clients and responding to day-to-day queriesHelping clients understand their accounts, tax position and business performanceIdentifying ways to improve processes and the overall client experienceSupporting and working collaboratively with the wider team
Depending on your experience, there will also be opportunities to prepare personal tax returns and become increasingly involved in advisory work.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone with solid experience gained within an accountancy practice who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own work and dealing directly with clients.Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience as an Accounts Senior, Senior Accountant or similar within an accountancy practiceStrong experience preparing year-end accounts for SMEsExperience preparing corporation tax returnsExperience with VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accountsConfidence managing your own workload and client deadlinesStrong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with clientsA commercial mindset and an interest in understanding the businesses you work withA positive, approachable attitude and willingness to get involved

You may be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
