Key Responsibilities of PLC Controls Engineer
Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
Provide ‘hands-on' technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring
Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background
Automation, Programming, PLC Controls
A Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion
Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery

Assist colleagues with fault finding, diagnostics, and repair planning.
Keep accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
Attend roadside breakdowns and provide emergency assistance when required.
Process warranty claims and complete all associated paperwork correctly.
Follow health, safety, and industry regulations at all times.
We are very keen to hear from HGV Technicians that have the following:-
Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Experience within commercial vehicle or trailer maintenance.
Ability to identify defective or worn components in line with DVSA standards.
Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle categories operated.
Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
IRTEC accreditation is advantageous but not essential.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
