Mego Employment is working with a well-established and respected company based in central Plymouth, and they're looking to add a skilled TIG Welder with stainless steel fabrication experience to their close-knit team.
This is a hands-on role that will involve a mix of workshop-based welding and on-site installations.
You'll be involved in a wide range of bespoke projects, with the opportunity to take real ownership of your work.

In this role, you'll be:
Carrying out precise TIG welding on stainless steel components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings to fabricate and assemble bespoke items
Setting out and installing balustrades and other architectural metalwork
Supervising team members when needed
Managing your own workload and taking full ownership of projects from start to finish
Adapting to a variety of tasks, both in the workshop and on-site
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Proven TIG welding experience with stainless steel, supported by valid welding tickets
A strong background in metal fabrication and installation
The ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively in a small team
A flexible, adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage changing priorities
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
Self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism—whether working in the workshop or on-site with clients
A full, clean UK driving licence (essential for travel to job sites)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

They're looking to bring a Store Operative onto the team — someone who will carefully and accurately handle stores/materials across the warehouse and production areas, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
What your day might look like:
Unloading deliveries and putting stock away
Picking parts and preparing kits for production
Issuing materials to the shop floor as needed
Labelling, packing and preparing orders for shipment
Processing stock movements using in-house systems
Supporting stock replenishment
Keeping the workspace clean, tidy and organised
Occasionally operating a forklift (training can be provided)
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in warehousing, stores, or materials handling (ideally within manufacturing)
Feels confident following detailed written instructions and systems
Can work accurately and stay focused without constant supervision
Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist the team when needed
Has good attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work
It's a bonus if you also have:
Experience using SAP or WMS systems
A current forklift licence (counterbalance or reach)
Hours: Monday to Friday - Alternate shift pattern working 0600-1400 and 1400-2200 rotating weekly

They're currently looking to welcome a CNC/Machine Operator to join their team.
This role offers long-term stability, hands-on work, and the opportunity to build technical skills within a structured manufacturing environment.
What Your Days Could Look Like: You'll be actively involved in setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to the correct specifications.
Daily responsibilities include performing gauge checks, reporting any defects, and making sure the correct tooling is fitted.
You'll also complete performance checklists to maintain machine health and ensure optimal output.
Safety is a top priority, so following procedures and participating in ongoing training will be key to your success.
What We're Looking For:
2-3 years' experience in machine operation or CNC setting (preferred but not essential)
Able to work an alternate shift pattern - 0600 - 1400 and 1400 - 2200 rotating weekly
