As Kitchen Showroom Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom and via telephoneGathering full customer requirements, what they are looking to achieved & their expected spend level.Arranging and booking appointments for a member of the team to carry out a home visit to present the sales possibilities & take measurements etc.You will be showing customers the products and service on offer e.g.
Kitchen doors, worktops, handles, appliances etc.Helping customer choose colours, styles etc.Taking phone calls from potential and existing customers as well as suppliersFollowing up internet and email enquiriesYou will also be carrying out general admin duties e.g., quotations, placing orders, dealing with suppliers and other admin work as requiredEnsuring the showroom is always clean and tidyThis is a Part Time role working during the week with a Saturday on a Rota BasisWorking as a part of a small team, helping out in all departments as business dictatesYou will be working from the Thatcham Branch, on the A4.
THE PERSON
The successful Showroom Consultant MUST have experience in a similar role with significant customer interaction both via the phone and face to face.
Minimum of 2 years.It would be advantageous to have previous experience in Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, DIY, Home Furnishing etc.A friendly disposition and ability to engage customers is essentialEnthusiasm for and a strong interest in home improvementsThe successful candidate must be able to work independently, often looking after the showroom on your own.Confident & able to convert a customer enquiry into a lead or home/showroom appointmentAble to work alternate Saturdays with additional hours as required (No Sundays)You must be IT proficient, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suiteYou MUST have excellent customer service skills with great customer facing skillsHands on and happy to help within all departmentsLive within a commutable distance to the Thatcham Branch

Our client, a busy Accident Repair Centre in the Thatcham area, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
- To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
- Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Be able to work in a team and as an individual
Minimum Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:
- Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
- Have previous experience as an MET Technician
- ATA is advantageous but not essential
