We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices. Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks. Monitor and track the usage of materials throughout the production process and conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to production schedules and material utilization targets to meet customer order expectations. Utilize CAD software to accurately capture field dimensions and translate them into precise design specifications for panels. Develop detailed and accurate 2D drawings for fabrication tickets, providing clear and comprehensive instructions for the production team. Prepare accurate cut sheets to optimize material cuts, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency in the production process. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and adherence to project milestones and deadlines. Convert CAD drawings into Alpha CAM files suitable for CNC machines, ensuring seamless translation of design specifications into the manufacturing processes and instructions. Review and understand shop drawings and engineering calculations to ensure compliance with specifications and design criteria. Collaborate with sales, operations, and others to answer questions, address uncertainties and earn complete customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION:

You will be working alongside other Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:
Maintain outputs (H&S, Quality, and Performance) to plan. , Respond to breakdowns as identified by Engineering or Production Operatives. , Show a proactive approach and find solutions to problems. , Self-prioritise work schedule when necessary. , Identify and order spares to facilitate plant efficiency. , Communicate with Production and Engineers via log books and other methods. , Liaise with all other departments to understand site problems. , Observe all safety procedures and follow good engineering practices. , Take ownership of engineering tasks and responsibilities. , Manage and monitor PPM adherence. , Work shifts that will also include weekend work
The Ideal background and key attributes:
Qualified in an Electro Mechanical engineering discipline , A Maintenance engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or have over five years' experience in industry. , Fully aware of H&S legislation. , Flexible, reliable and confident in making decisions. , Confident communicating with other departments. , Able to work under pressure and to deadlines. , Able to demonstrate bench fitting skills and ideally machining and/or welding. , Comfortable with working on electrical circuits and PLC controlled processes. , Experienced within the manufacturing industry or ideally food and beverage production industry.
