Are you passionate about making a real difference in someone's life? We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join a team at a supported living accommodation in Weymouth, providing care and support to a female client with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and Epilepsy.
Please note: This role is only available for candidates who have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you'll be delivering high-quality care and supporting the client's independence through well-planned activities.
You will help with personal care needs, and you'll also need to be Buccal Midazolam trained, which will be provided by the agency.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Planning, preparing, and implementing activities to promote independence and engagement.
Personal care, ensuring dignity and respect.
Working closely with a supportive team to enhance the client's overall quality of life.

About You:
We're looking for someone who:
Has 6 months to 1 year experience in supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities.
Holds an Enhanced DBS check.
Demonstrates a calm, patient, and compassionate nature.
Has great communication skills and is passionate about delivering person-centered care.

Check quantity and quality of stock and orders items in accordance with the catering manual
Supervise the kitchen employee team

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting

Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
