Typically, this person will be working with the electrical team on various subsea equipment, this could include preparing and laying out electrical panels, sub-assemblies, trunking & cabling, crimping and numbering

Duties and responsibilities of the Panel Wirer:
Follow correct build instructions and drawing
Checking for any mistakes and reporting and defects
All aspects of layout and prep work for panels and sub-assemblies
Qualifications and requirements for the Panel Wirer:
Good knowledge of panel wiring and experience working on electrical drawings
Electrical qualifications or relevant experience
Understanding 5S would be an advantage

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join one of our established clients in the marine industry.
The role will involve working on a combination of offshore projects and workshop-based fabrication and repair tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a respected and long-standing organisation involved in high-profile marine and ship repair projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Welder/Fabricator:
Carrying out welding and fabrication tasks within the workshop and on-site as required
Working on ship repairs with a focus on all-steel components
Utilising a range of welding techniques including Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and Stick welding
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work specifications
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and always adhering to health and safety protocols
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably within the marine or shipbuilding sector
Competency in MIG and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques
Ability to successfully complete a trade test to demonstrate skill level
Flexibility to work in both workshop and offshore environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Desirable:
Previous experience in ship repair or marine fabrication
Relevant industry certifications or qualifications
