Position Summary:
Carboline is looking for a Sales Development Intern to support our Sales and Sales Development Team in ensuring smooth, and organizational functioning at our St.
Louis Headquarters.
The ideal intern will be a great fit for our energetic and creative team.
You will gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.
All of our internships are paid.
Minimum Requirements:
This paid intern will work roughly 30 - 40 hours per week from May-August.
Must be pursuing a degree in HR or a similar related field.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours a day.
Work environment may require the use of PPE including but not limited to lab coats, hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toe shoes, etc.
Essential Functions:
Interns will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of Human Resources.
The Human Resources Manager will ensure the intern will adhere to industry best practices and our company's policies.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Screening resumes and applications for plant positions Schedule interviews with candidates Participate in organizing employee events to promote employee engagement. Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies. Address employee questions about company policy. Maintain employee files as needed. Assist with basic employee relations tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Administrator is primarily responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to sales processes, such as, managing customer data and records, coordinating with different departments, tracking and analyzing sales reports, and providing administrative support to sales teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Receives new orders and completions and enters information into the computer system. Process quotes in SFA. Scans documents. Provides customer service. Traces, expedites and coordinates the shipping of orders and leftovers. Responsible for running and updating backlog and accounts receivable reports and leftover reports. Forecast review and updates. Shipment allocation reports Matches invoices with orders, mails invoices to the customer, and follows up on special billing forms. Requests insurance certificates to customers and general contractors. Logs Contracts to be executed. Gets necessary approvals and sends correspondence to customers.
Processes invoices from outside vendors as needed. Works with Accounting to set up new vendors. Modifies orders with labor, product and pricing - changes as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years of related work experience in sales administration, sales operations, or customer service. Excellent skills in communication, organization, and time management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or the equivalent coursework in a related specialized field Previous experience in sales administration Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with customer relationship management software and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of sales processes and procedures. Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with OSHA, environmental, and other relevant regulatory requirements. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS), reliability engineering principles, and project management methodologies. Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). Autocad proficiency Completed formal training in and/or have at least 1 year experience applying continuous improvement tools such as TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, etc. Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion. EDUCATION:

One to two years related experience and/or training. Minimum one year of related experience working in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the distribution center.
Duties include, but are not limited to, general clerical, receptionist and project based work.
Must project a professional company image through in person, phone and electronic communications.
Serves as a liaison between the warehouse and operations.
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
Schedule all outbound LTL pickups, inbound deliveries for the Fenton DC.
Communicating with the DC Manger and Warehouse Supervisor on a daily basis regarding problems or special situations that occur, esp.
issues with product availability and backorders.
Maintain correspondence with truckload brokers for the best rates and dates for shipping high-volume orders and transfers. Communicate scheduled pickups with the management team to prepare loads for pickup.
Follow-up with key Accounts (Home Depot, Lowes) on missed pickups.
Utilize vendor transportation links to schedule pickups including Home Depot, Lowes, Grainger, Sears/Kmart, True Value, Tractor Supply etc.
Work with Export department to setup container pickups.
Distribution Center Administrative Support
Daily use of copy, fax/scanner, and printers.
Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e.
Word, Excel and Outlook) and business software (SAP).
Maintain spreadsheets for tracking data in a variety of reports.
Process all inbound and outbound paperwork daily.
Communicating with Distribution Manager on operational problems.
Provide support for various projects and lean initiatives.
Track daily productivity numbers for all associates on the floor.
Handle all data entry for inbound and outbound shipments for the Fenton DC.
Inventory Management
Correspond with Pacific DC on daily inbound loads of inventory.
Complete all data entry for inbound loads from Pacific DC. Complete all data entry for inbound and outbound loads.
Correspond with the warehouse floor on any inventory errors/issues and perform data entry as needed.
Correspond with the Pacific DC and Pacific Production on inventory needed to complete orders, etc.
Customer Service
Communicating on a daily basis with Customer Service on various shipments that need to leave the Distribution Center.
Sending back orders for changes that need to be made.
Handle inbound calls on product availability, allocations on Hot orders and backorders for on time delivery.
Checking emails frequently for new situations with customers and deliveries to achieve timely solutions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in the relevant field. Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel & Outlook) and business software (SAP). Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to calculate and solve basic math equations. Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Ability to write business letters, summaries and reports. Ability to use and maintain fax machines, copiers and printers Strong interpersonal and communication skills
