The summer intern would work under mentorship of Sr.
Design Engineer. The intern will work on Participate in assembly, testing, and evaluation of engineering prototypes. Conduct upfront engineering system research for new to market products. Utilize Solidworks CAD program to generate and update engineering documentation.
Pay
$17 / hour.
Requirements
Major: Mechanical Engineering Freshman, Sophomore or Junior. Able to use Excel, Word and MS Project to complete assigned tasks.
A working familiarity with Solidworks is preferrable. Candidate should have excellent communication skills since they will be interfacing with team members in Baltimore and in Fenton. Good time management skills. Attention to details, inquisitive, good notes taker, desire to learn and grow.

The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent professional/trade certifications or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two to four years related experience and/or training as a machine operator or CNC programmer.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
CAD/CAM software proficiency; experience with software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or specialized foam-cutting CAM packages to design and generate G-code.
Ability to write, debug, and edit G-code to optimize tool paths, minimize, and manage tool changes.
Understanding of different foam densities and rigidities, and the ability to adjust cutting speeds (14,000-17,000 RPM) and feed rates (50-100 mm/s) to avoid burning or excessive melting.
Expertise in selecting appropriate cutting tools, such as single-flute end mills for high-speed, clean cuts, or hot-wire, along with proper tool length to minimize vibrations.
Skill in setting up CNC routers, hot-wire cutters, or vertical cutting machines, including vacuum table setups for holding lightweight foam.
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Capable of performing routine maintenance, such as changing or sharpening blades, and resolving issues like tool breakage, material deflection, or poor surface finish.
Ability to handle, lift, and maneuver large, lightweight, and bulky foam blocks (often up to 50+ lbs).
Strict adherence to safety protocols, including managing fire hazards (foam can be flammable), proper ventilation for dust extraction, and using appropriate PPE (safety glasses, masks).

The FP&A manager will play a key role in supporting the global FP&A function at Rust-Oleum, specifically for The Color Group, a group of three entities within RPM International's Consumer Group segment.

Under general supervision, the Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and operational activities in support of manufacturing.

Essential Duties
Provide maintenance support for all process equipment, including repair of down equipment and coordination of maintenance projects

Perform maintenance, fabrication, adjustments, and repairs on machinery and equipment
Maintain spare parts inventory, order tools and parts, and ensure accurate maintenance records
Improve and execute preventive maintenance plans, including operator-level procedures
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities
Install, set up, evaluate, and recommend improvements for new and existing equipment
Modify equipment to optimize performance
Coordinate fabrication of fixtures and shop aids
