The client is offering a full time, contract position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to provide an effective Building Control service through the regulation and enforcement of the Building Regulations 2010, the Building Act 1984 and associated legislation to ensure the health, safety and convenience of people in and about buildings.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
carry out the full range of Building Control surveying activities including site inspections and plan appraisals, investigating dangerous structures, responding to customer enquiries, coordinating statutory consultations, demolitions, liaising with experts, internal and external stakeholders
