Applications are invited from experienced Care Assistants with a genuine commitment to working with older people to join the team at our clients 27 bedded Residential Care Home on the beautiful Island of Alderney, in the Channel Islands. The salary range is £13.70 to £16.34 per hour for days (08:00-20:00), and £16.34 to £19.94 for night duty (20:00-08:00) The Home strives to provide affordable and sustainable care to the elderly residents of Alderney.
With a long history of providing care and support it is essential for the island's ageing population, which is expected to continue to increase in future years.The Home is currently undergoing extension and will increase to 52-beds single occupancy, with en-suite. Please note:Employer sponsorship (CoS) is not offered with this position; applicants must be British or Irish nationals, or UK permanent residents. Initial Single Staff Accommodation is offered with the role, this is currently an available room in the home, and provided for your first few months on the island to allow you to find your own accommodation.Alderney is the third largest of the five islands that make up the 'Bailiwick' of Guernsey, not far from the French coast.
