This role can be done on a fully remote basis!
The duration of this contract is on a 3-month rolling basis.
They can pay a competitive rate of £50-£60ph umbrella!
Key Responsibilities of the Adult Social Care Lawyer role
Provide legal advice on complex issues related to Adult Social Care.
This will include all aspects of community care law/adult social care law and to a lesser extent education law (SEN/School queries).
You will take up some ongoing caseload and fresh queries in these fields without any specific training.
You will be dealing with adult protection/court of protection/mental capacity/mental health, ordinary residence and CHC disputes and Judicial Review claims as well as commencing and running court of protection cases with Counsel as appropriate.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law
Someone who has worked for a public sector organisation within an Adult Social Care legal team.
You must be able to deal with adult protection/court of protection/mental capacity/mental health, ordinary residence and CHC disputes and Judicial Review claims as well as commencing and running court of protection cases with Counsel as appropriate.
