Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking a Quality Control Technician I in Dayton, NV.
As a QC Technician, you will play a critical role in the quality of our manufacturing process.
We are seeking individuals with strong leadership and work ethic to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility and coordination of all plant operations in order to reach the best possible performance targets.
Position Requirements:
Two years of related experience in similar inspection, examination and testing activities, a high school graduate (or equivalent) with six months related experience in similar inspection, examination and testing activities or Associate's degree in a related discipline and three months of related experience in similar inspection, examination and testing activities.

Job Duties:
Conducts QC tests and approves incoming raw materials for use. Reviews raw material Certificates of Analysis for compliance against standards. Conducts QC test on finished goods prior to distribution to customer to ensure they are within specification parameters. Assists production personnel in production methods for new products and troubleshooting for existing ones. Provides production personnel with system weights and canning instructions for finished goods. Documents repetitive issues related to quality of finished goods to make recommendations on formulation changes or production specification improvements. Communicates with appropriate staff when a finished product is held up in QC due to testing problems. Maintain a clean work area and assist in the end of shift cleaning. Provides production personnel with adjustments needed for finished goods not in compliance with specifications.

A proven ability to manage projects and clearly communicate key project tasks.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This role is to educate WTI personnel on proper product use application, provide installation training on and off the roof, oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish with intermittent inspections, and post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will perform regular job site visits during the project and post-project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency across the country with proper roof repairs and application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in the field and in a shop setting. Provide hands on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-con's on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advise.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the projects have a zero punch-list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to Peel tests Product recommendations Proper product installations Post-project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation. Perform roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation. Perform safety audits while on site to ensure all safety requirements are being met and consult with the safety team when necessary. The Redline Group have an excellent new opportunity with our South Yorkshire-based customer in their search for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to assist in bringing a lifesaving new product development project to fruition.
Supporting a small, highly-motivated NPI design team, you will be working on a the development of a new product range, through the entirety of the design lifecycle, from initial concept through to prototype, manufacturing through to release.
Key Skills Required - Senior Electronics Design Engineer - South Yorkshire:
- Analogue and digital design experience
- Assembler or BASCOM experience
- -Exposure of the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product release including demonstrable experience of delivering your designs into service.
- Experience with supporting the testing and development of products, including the use of test equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes
- Fire safety background is desirable
- Experience working with power supplies, DC motor controls and battery chargers is highly desirable
