JOB DESCRIPTION
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Understand and manage the capacity milling operation and assist supervising the management of the process performance. Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions.
Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes.
Determine most effective arrangement of operations such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying.
Perform tests and monitor performance of processes throughout stages of production to determine degree of control over variables such as temperature, density, specific gravity, and pressure.
Design and plan layout of equipment.
Work with production to start up, enhance and improve all processes related to production and assist with defining SOPs. Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management.
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations.
Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.

The Role of the Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be joining a national team, identifying and developing effective sales channels and routes to market.
This is a national role focused on hunting for projects and driving sales of flooring into the Housing Associations.
Strong awareness of key groups such as G15, Top 11 Housing Associations, and other major Housing Associations nationwide.
You’ll be working within a rapidly growing sector for the business.
Your role will involve creating and executing a targeted sales plan in collaboration with the Apartment Living Sales Manager to maximise growth opportunities.
Ideally, you will live in the Midlands, Southeast, or London.

Position Overview
As the Financial Controller, you will be central to the financial health of their hospitality operation.
You will oversee all financial functions, from daily reporting to strategic forecasting and budgeting.

You will ensure the smooth running of all financial matters, working closely with the wider management team
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support the organisation's finance team.
- Produce accurate financial reports, including P&L and budgets.

- Submit quarterly VAT returns and manage year-end accounts on Sage 200.
