Service Provider seeking a Technical Project Manager to join a small, yet well-established technical team.
They predominately provide data centre services across the UK to a range of different clients across banking, retail and legal.
Services include DC migrations, support, auditing, DC rollout/refresh/deployment etc.
Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, you'll also be working closely with operations, sales and project management teams.
You will take overall responsibility for the end to end delivery of numerous technical projects which are data centre focussed.
This role plays a key part in the coordination, management, financial reporting and delivery of the clients services and overall business growth.
This is an exceptionally varied role where no project will be the same.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within Project Management within a technical environment, specifically data centres and their related technologies
- Project exposure experience across some (not all) of the following;
DC audits/migrations/commissioning/decommissioning, asset and cable/connectivity auditing, DC IMACS/general maintenance, office builds/moves/expansions/consolidation, end of life/hardware refreshes across networks/storage/server, WAN/LAN connectivity, customer extranet and B2B networks, wireless networks, structured cabling architecture/installation, technical design
Offering between £50,000 - £70,000 PA plus some attractive benefits.

The role:
As a Site Electrician, you will be to work offshore on our Geotechnical Vessels and your main responsibilities will be to assist our team with the upkeep and day to day running of various vessels and drilling rigs within the company.
You will support with the installation/mobilisation of jack up barges, offshore drills and subsea drills to project requirements and the general upkeep and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure the smooth running and operation of the plant and equipment.
As a Site Electrician, you'll work closely with Mechanical/Technical engineers and vessel crew and fall under the Deck Supervisors and/or Bargemaster to ensure that plant and equipment is kept up and running with minimal down time.
This will include the Maintenance and upkeep of Electrical Systems and their schedules, completing reports and keeping maintenance schedules up to date, Install temporary/new or upgraded equipment onto assets when required to high standard as per compliant regulations, Maintain Critical Spares on site and ensure minimum quantities are maintained at all times, Implementing Improvements and mobilising new equipment, carry out Fault Finding on Electrical Systems and complete effective diagnosis or repair work to ensure equipment is back operational.
You may also be required to assist in Deck/Drilling Operations when required.
Who we're looking for:
As a Qualified Electrician, you will have the following:
Being an experienced Electrician ideally from an Industrial or marine background
Approved electrical apprenticeship.
NVQ level 3 electrical engineering
City & guilds level 3 electrotechnical studies
18th edition
Full clean UK driving license.
Experience of 3 phase systems and motors / generators
Experience with carrying out maintenance activities on electrical equipment.
C&G 2391 would be desirable.

Qualifications:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma with preference in building science, civil technology, engineering, construction technology, business or any other relevant field of study is preferred. • Work experience in the construction industry is an asset, specifically experience in roofing is ideal. • Must possess intermediate level proficiency with MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Superior written, oral and digital communication skills • Ability to work with high energy, aggressive sales representatives and with detail-oriented office personnel • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as experience dealing with a sales force on a daily basis • Able to effectively communicate with field personnel at all levels • Computer Literacy, E-mail, web, SAP, basic office suite experience • Organizing, planning and prioritizing administrative business functions • Saleforce or other data driven program experience is a plus. • Construction administration experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Execution of project tasks with knowledge of expected production rates, ensuring tools and materials are used safely and efficiently to complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents as directed by foreman.
Responsible to aid foreman in tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image.
